help
I used to drink the same way, so I know where you are at in life. I tried everything that I could think of to quit. In my second outpatient rehab they required me to attend 4 A.A. meetings. While there I found a solution thru the program(that was 4 1/2 years ago) and have not had a drink since. The program made me look at the cause and effect of my drinking. Today I have a life that I could not have dreamed of 4 1/2 years ago. I highly recommend Alcoholics Anonymous for any one that has a drinking problem. You have admitted that you have a problem and that is the first step to recovery. Please look in your local phone book or newspaper and the phone number should be in there. Please feel free to send me a personal message if I can help. Working with others helps us stay sober. Good Luck
I remember doing the same thing at one time. Call a rehab or detox center and get help there. Your body may need help detoxing. Then, attend AA meetings and work the 12 steps they suggest as a program of recovery. Post here to let us know how you are doing.
Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
