Grateful Post...and I FINALLY DID IT!!!
I got back on the bike! Course, I screwed up and ate a 1/2 muffin...shot my sugars to 410...took insulin, hopped on the bike, did 4 miles in 15 minutes and got back to normal.
TODAY I'M GRATEFUL FOR:
Making the choice to exercise again! It felt great!
Having this board as my safe haven to come to when I'm stressed.
My fear....without my abject fear of being trapped in a bottle, I'd likely already have died in one.
Email....I've emailed my Rabbi for suggestions to help out the temple in Gloucester, Mass that burned down last night. They lost all their Torah scrolls. Very sad.
I'm grateful for my daily bread...(and protein) and that even tho I'm not nuts about my job, I have one. It pays the bills, and allows me to help out others in need.
My friends here. Without each of you, your ideas, perspectives and stories, I'd feel alone. :) Thanks to all of you for making every day have meaning for me!
Marie
Hi Marie,
Thanks for posting this. I am in a really weird space this weekend, and I desperately wanted to drink tonight. I am really tired and going to bed.
Love,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
