Grateful Post..
Happy Thanksgiving Day..
Today I am grateful..
That I have the means to help others during this Holiday season.. We have an “Angel” tree at work and I took a couple of Angels off there and bought gifts for the kids listed.. I remember growing up dirt poor and not knowing if I was getting anything for Christmas and now that I can afford it I will help others.. I ask of you, if you can help others during the Holiday season please do..
That I am home with my family.. It may be just for a few hours but I get to see them.. I will end up driving longer than I will actually spend with them but it is so worth it..
That although I my brother and others have gone before me.. I still have them in my heart and I will in fact be having Thanksgiving with him and my Grandparents.. Damn, I miss them..
That I have Baby Tre. To start new traditions with..
For friends that email, text or call.. I love you all SO much..

today I'm grateful for Dan's and my Higher Power and for AA.. I was able to spend the day with Dan. and family/friends.. and actually enjoy it not wanting it to hurry and be over cuz I wanted to go out afterwards to drink.
for the food that I had to eat..
for having the day off work.. and having tomorrow off too
