checking in/prayer
Hey all,
I had my 3 month check up today and Praise the Lord I am 199 finally after years I am below the 200's. that is a total loss of 59lbs since Aug 6th.
I am still struggling to eat enough I can only get 3-4 bites down at atime if I try for more I dump immediately.
so this week I am trying a few very high protien bars. Even if it takes me all day to eat it, it is 20 more grams than I was getting. pray for me that hey work.
How is everyone else with their eating?
Also, pleaes keep my family in prayer we are losing our home, maybe our car, myhusband is so sick and is missing so much work and he is also trying to find a new job close to home. He works an hour away.
Also, I was fired illegally 3 weeks ago so I have no income for 6 weeks until unemployment kicks in. Things are REALLY hard right now and not making it easier to eat.
Love
Trish
Prayers sent for you and your family..
congratulations on the weightloss.. if you can, I would recommend making and eating chili.. good in protein.. and pretty easy to eat on the belly... also I lived alot on egg dishes early out. I would cook in the skillet some onion, green pepper, mushroom and add an egg or two and cheese. Very yummie and I still love 'em. Also now I will cook in the toaster oven some turkey bacon and when almost done add slices of favorite cheese (pepperjack) and bust an egg over it. Also. yummie..
Hugsss
Trish,
I am so sorry to hear of your financial difficulties. That is really difficult to deal with.
I ditto the suggestion about chili. I make a big pot of chili with lean ground turkey and kidney beans in it. I like to put cinnamon in my chili, and store it in little ziploc bowls. I will freeze some of them, and find it really good to get quality protein in.
Prayers for your situation.
Hugs,
Trish
