I needed you guys first this morning so you are my first stop.

I've hit 3 meetings since telling my dad of my alcoholicness, will hit another one after work. I still feel ****ty, but Damn i feel so much better. I hit my meeting this morning that my sponsor said she better see me at, and she wasn't even there! little snot!

At any rate, I feel much better today mentally, and I wanted to thank you all for caring. You have been with me since Day 1....literally.

is all I can do to express my gratitude.

My bet would be your Dad has more respect than disappointment for you. Don't short-change yourself! Keep up the willingness.

Ditto to what Karen said.  My daughter was not as disappointed about my relapse after I came back to AA and got sober.  She is happy I am getting help and not drinking.   Your Dad has communicated some positive stuff to you about your confession.  Write them down and read them.  Don't let your disease tell you crap about yourself. Hugs, Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
