Obsessive thinking

I'm having obsessive thinking for 2 days now.  Now about any addiction, but about a particular situation.  I've tried praying through it.  I can't seem to let it go.  I can't seem to forgive people involved, or figure out if I need to apologize.  I woke up several times during the night thinking about it.  I'm STILL thinking about it.   How do I stop the obsessive thinking before it turns into something worse?

Jill, The best thing to do with obsessive thoughts, especially about other people, is to talk to someone safe about it, and then pray for the person.  I try to see the person as someone Jesus died for, and loves.  That usually helps me kick the obsession. Talk to you soon. Hugs, Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
