1 week 2 days post op and doing good
Hey everyone, Thought it was about time I checked in. I feel 1000% better than a week ago. Thought I was dying LOL. I haven't weighed myself yet, Iknow the first few weeks can be a yoyo and I don't want to get discouraged. I have my post op appt. on Friday and get this STUPID drain out. I swear it is the most irritating thing in the world, that and my dog thinks it a toy for him and keeps trying to dive for it, Uhhhg. I still am a bit sore especially the drain port that is pulling at the stiches so I know as soon as I get it out I will feel a lot better. Started really walking yesterday, just didn't feel up to it, but I did a good 10 min today and I am going to start building. Most of the time I have to wait until evening because of the heat!! I am living with two bottles by my side as we speak, one with protien shake and another with water and that is how I have been since I got home. I know I haven't hit 60 g protien yet but I am working on it.
Honestly the hardest thing I am finding is when to stop drinking. I don't feel hungry and I don't feel full, I only feel the OVER FULL, so I am going to have to really use my 1oz cups to measure becasue I have the overfull feeling. I am glad to be back and love you all Trish

Hi Trish.. so glad to know that you are still with us and doing good.. it's been 3 years since my surgery, but I remember *barely* the feeling of .. "I must drink/eat something just to get some protein in me.. " but not wanting too.. but oh the head hunger. I watched the food channel constantly .. and never had pre-wls.. .. it must of been a phase 'cause at some point I've stopped watching it again. take care and hugs, Rhonda
