Thanks for the notes of encouragement. I will not drink over the Thanksgiving day disaster. I drank too many years over the way my ex treated me when we were married, I will be Damned if I throw away my precious sobriety over him now that we are split. I am still sad about how he treated me. I thought we were getting along better. Hugs, Trish

Trish, I'm glad you are feeling better today. I know it hurts when someone disappoints us, but you have a lot to be proud of and gratfeful for. Keep those things in mind and you'll have a better holiday. Keep your chin up!

Hang in there Trish. You know there's very little about this whole scenario that you can control. Let it go and try to find a way to make your holiday special. Perhaps you could volunteer somewhere? It would help you get out of yoruself for a while. Love, Michelle
