2 Meetings today

Hi there, I managed to get to two AA meetings today. The one at noon was on the part of the Big Book that discusses the Promises of sobriety. I will see if I can post them here. I have to find them first online. Tonight's meeting was a speaker who discussed the very basic things she was taught when she first came to AA. I am feeling so much better since making these meetings. My house is still a mess, and I have laundry to put away. But, I am calm and focused. 6 more days till surgery. Not that I am counting. i think that it's really great that you're taking control of other addictions that you have BEFORE surgery. I commend you...i've been reading your posts and didn't realize that you havn't had surgery yet. I hope that others learn and follow what your doing.
