I am home

Hi there, I just got home from a trip to Gettysburg, or a state park not far from that beautiful town. I was very upset at times during this trip. It was a big family get together, with mom, siblings, kids and mom's boyfriend and his son and daughter-in-law. We surprised Mom with an early 80th birthday party. Mom's boyfriend's son brought beer to drink while staying at the cabin. State park regs say no alcoholic beverages in the cabin or on the park land. I was disturbed by this lack of respect for the rules. I was even more upset when he shared with my 23 year old son. Mom got on my nerves more than once. Petty crap which just built up. I had to take regular walks to be alone and think and pray. There is no place like home. Hugs, Trish

Welcome home! You were missed! It's hard when we have to let adults make their own choices, especially when they are doing the wrong thing. hugs, m
