Couple days early but it's the thought that counts.
Wet and upper 60's this morning. No yardwork today. My zero turn came back with a new starter. Repair shop called my mother thinking it was her mower, tell her it needed a new starter, she okays it and I'm out an extra $300! I'll admit it was dragging but replacing it was not on the to do list last week! Trees look much better trimmed and new cameras can spot a zit on an armadillo's butt at 100 yards. Cameras were long overdue for an upgrade. Now I have to figure out how to pay for all this!

Retirement gig too!
First cut of year in. Had to use two different mowers because mine crapped out. Mom's not used since last Summer so needed some TLC. Tree trimmers here tomorrow. Crepe myrtles getting into electrical service line.

Remember those days well. Some of the UHF's were on after midnight depending on the day of the week usually Friday and Saturdays otherwise off by midnight too.
Even though food is better on Cinco De Mayo!

Electronic gremlins last week ate post! Hence the test pattern.
Uptick compliments of doing large quantities of running chain saw cutting up dead trees and pruning on others. Shoulders talking to me.
Let's see what happens when I hit "submit".

Probably need to give up the snack cheese and maybe cholesterol will go back down. Got insurance situation squared away and I CAN use my old PCP. No change necessary. Not the best but changing not worth the BS. Edited to Add: got Ferritin level back and was not bottomed out. Cholesterol, LDL and overall, beyond tolerances. See what he has to say Wednesday.
Got new bedding here Friday. Two nights of great sleep! Not sleeping in a hole anymore and number of trips to the bathroom was lower too. Even the dog has not snored as much as he normally does!

Been a time or that a big ol' nasty stinky has helped with getting the jeans to fight right.
Start with a new PCP tomorrow. Having to change because of one I've had for several years is out of their network. Not saying he was not a competent doctor but despite having a sleeve, he's regained all his weight back, think he took the possible malabsorption issues I may be having too lightly. Ferritin stays on bottom of the graph and I feel constantly tired. Wife says legs will get restless at night which is a tall tale sign of ferritin being too low. Closing on 17 years without an iron infusion so maybe one is overdue.
Have a Great Week!

Wife has been working on our taxes. New CPA firm we use now instead of her former employer is night and day difference! I just lay low and let her and them talk "CPA". Long as I don't wind up in a strapless dress answering to the name "*****" in Federal Prison for Tax Evasion - I'll pay my/our preparer!

Up four pounds?! WTH!
KC had their butts handed to them last Sunday. Time for all the "filler" sports. Basketball, baseball, hockey and NASCAR. Five lap limit per race for me.
Going to be COLD this week! More "helping" the Mrs. with housework this week.

KC for the "3-pete" or Philly because of having a likely relative playing for them? KC. I can root for "cousin" when he has the ball.
Yard season started yesterday. Not all of it just closest to the house. Feeling it.
Enjoy the Game and have a great week!!

WTH? Put post up, go live life, come home, check thread and no mas!
206.8 last with and 208.0 this week. Told wife that since I quit work weight steadily coming back. Probably going to have to help out more around here. Fingers crossed that will help.
Did the leave tree up thing one year and changed decorations per the holidays/seasons. Plastic garbage bags and putting it in the storeroom wound up being best decorations!
Don't ask me why Maverick's GM traded off Luka Doncic. Protestors went as far as to put casket in front of the American Airlines center. Him and LeBron James probably wind up putting on the gloves.

The North has been dealing with snow and ice since the Pilgrims got off the Mayflower! Your roads are made to hold up to it better. Put snow tires on your vehicles to drive on it and before it all starts the oil tanks are full for heating and cords of wood put in. Down here the roads aren't built for it. It starts down at the base. If the base is not thick enough or laid down well they expand and contract causing cracks tha****er gets into, freezes and starts potholes. Can tell where base is thin at stop signs because of weighted vehicles, buses, garbage trucks cause ripples like a washboard.
Needless to say watching the video of the Tahoe in the parking lot the only thought in my mind was "don't hit the concrete base holding up the light post". I did it too! Never in a Tahoe but many times in Crown Victorias and the truck I had all those years. Truck was worse on snow and ice than the cars. Too light in the rear. It should be noted that I got stuck several times over the years but more often than not mud was the culprit not snow and ice!

Guess their powdered sugar storage blew up! 10" snow in NOLA. Two favorite videos from there were the priest and nuns playing in the snow and the guys getting their air boats out and playing on snow. Got tickled at some peckerwood who posted video of a Houston PD officer having an impromptu driver's training session on a snow-covered parking lot by doing donuts in the snow. His knickers were really bunched up about it!
Find out today who goes to Super Bowl in two weeks. No dog in the fight but again go with KC three peat band wagon.
Mr. Trump hard and fast out of the blocks.

We're a little warmer but not much. One space heater is assigned to the den and another to the bedroom.
Transfer portal and NIL will not be good for college football in long run. 12 team play off going to take getting used to. Maybe they should drop it down to 8. Season going too long with 12.

Will be watching both the Inauguration and CFP from comfort of my own living room.
No "local" dog in the fight for NFL since KC knocked Houston out of playoffs so I'll be on the KC "threepeat" band wagon.

No snow or ice for us. Just wet and cold.
OSU and Notre Dame next Monday for the CFP. If you want to go as it stands now and is expected to go up is tickets start at $2,600! We'll watch it from home. No lines at the bathrooms and if we lose interest can go to bed.
New episodes start this week. More whining, non-compliance, delusional thinking and maybe 1 or 2 success stories.

Oops! Chalk it up to grief grazing and muscle mass build up from moving things around the house doing some purging of access crap from the cabinets and closets. Getting back on rower too.
12 game college play off thing taking some getting used to!
Have a Merry Christmas and safe travels if you're going to among the masses.

Thank you. It amazes me how a small animal can take such a huge ass chunk from your heart when they go. Giving other dog all kinds of attention. We took him with us Friday when other one went to vet.

Bad week in Texas. Oldest Yorkie, would have been 15 in February, went across the Rainbow Bridge Friday. Needless to say dark cloud hanging over the house but life, and getting ready for Christmas, rolls on.
