Rough week last week. Got called in on the Second day of my 3 days off because of the storm. Had been going pretty hard trying to get the kids' rooms done already so wound up going 12-13 hours a day all week. Soo.. much....shoveling...

We survived!! Never lost power and still had city water till Friday afternoon and even then service was restored by yesterday afternoon. Can use the buckets of "just in case" water from brother to help clean the garage floor. My "company" truck after being out all day made a hell of a mess in the garage when it would melt and slough off the ice and mud. Had to leave it out Monday night because of not being able to get it in the garage due to the snow/ice on driveway. Trying to maneuver around to get it in the garage managed to get stuck to the point of having to call the overworked local wrecker. Took hour and a half to get cranked Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon we got snow and ice out of the way so could go back inside. Cranked without issue rest of the week after being inside with a drop light under the hood. My mother lost some pipes in her house. Hell of a mess! Most of her downstairs is tile floor but there is some carpet and wood that will have to be replaced.
Hopefully the powers that be learn something from this experience. Texas is geared for weeks of 107 degrees not a week of 7 degrees! It may dip that low for a day or two but bounce back quickly. That is why things aren't winterized to the extent they are further north.
Time to make a major restocking run. Week of eating at home depleted the pantry and freezer!

Wi**** was that easy!
I was going to complain about the snow and cold here. Near a foot of snow and some single digit nights. But then I thought of Don. Hope you are doing well. My nephew was without power and heat for several days in San Antonio. They had to live in a hotel. Work is sucking. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I have a hard time trying to listen to people who only think about schedule and not about getting work done correctly. Your poor planning does not constitute and emergency on my part.

Weights up a few pounds but nothing worth worrying about.
NY area is cold as sh$t also, so I guess we're all knee deep. I've been getting really horrible exercise the past couple of weeks shoveling snow every few days. I'd rather be out of shape than get that type workout.

It's cold up North here too! Been below freezing for at least a few weeks, and some single digit temps. They are saying we may get a foot of snow by Tuesday. The cold and snow I can tolerate a little bit, but the constant grey sky can get depressing. Cleveland has on average 299 days a year of cloudy/ mostly cloudy skies.

Have a couple days off work this week. Spent the weekend putting up paneling, taking a day off today then hanging the doors and putting up some drywall Monday. Hope all are well.

We're all old married farts so no need to remind you about Valentine's Day. Was told if I was doing roses this year go with a color other than red. Went with yellow. She was happy. Went out Friday to avoid roads and crowds.
It is C-O-L-D in Texas! 
The whole damn state! North and East TX will have lows in the single digits and highs below freezing till Friday! Had a little sleet this morning but snow is on the way. Any where from 2-8" depending on which prognosticator you're watching. Guess who has to go to work tomorrow? Was supposed to have been off but we were having to play "musical" police for non weather related reasons that are now null and void because of the weather.
Mr. Brady got ring number 7 last Sunday. 
Again nice to see an "old fart" still capable of successfully playing a young man's game. All ready have gotten a reminder from Mississippi State regarding season tickets for this Fall. I'll be ready to go road tripping by then.

Realized after I went to work that I forgot to post. Sorry about that.
Winter has decided to make up for lost time here. Not a fan of single digits.
It's frustrating that the scale does not always correlate right away with good (or bad) behavior.

Not going to lie - have considered throwing in the towel and discontinuing the weigh-ins. It can be a PITA finding a meme every week without repeating one every now and then.
I have been here for 13 years and seen OH dwindle down to a trickle of post across the ALL the boards from the waves that used to be here. Other social media has crippled OH especially since there is so many obesity and WLS groups/pages available.
Maybe I'm a dumb ass or maybe a little machoistic for hanging around so long!

Made some corned venison last week and cooked it up today, not bad at all!
I'm not happy about the yoyo weight gain and loss. Wasn't going to check in this week, but saw no one but Don posting, so I'm checking in. Don, thank you for your commitment.
