Last week 199

This week 198

Strained my back Monday morning so I missed a couple days of work this week. Only fell about 4 feet and landed on my feet, but it was on concrete. I was in a lot of pain and had trouble getting around. After lots of Advil and Tylenol and couple days of rest I was able to go back to work. I was moving slow and still achy the first day back but I've been off of Advil and Tylenol since Friday night and don't feel too bad now.

Definitely cooled down here over the weekend. Overnight lows dropped 10-15 degrees, daytime highs about 10 degrees. Put up my shorts and dug out some of my fall and winter garb. Not ready for the long underwear yet, but using the thermal shirts and probably will be rocking the sweaters and sweatshirts in a week or two.

Cut the grass last weekend, took it easy this weekend, hopefully have maybe one more mow this year.

The cool weather has arrived. We went from 80 to 57 in 24 hours. A fair amount of rain, so the lawn needs mowing, but still rain on and off all weekend. I don't mind the cool weather, but hate the leave. I have a couple of huge pin oaks around they drop acorns and leaves all fall and into Winter. Raking just plain sucks!

Good week to all!

Archie Manning Quotes | QuoteHD

Last week: 186.0

This week: 185.4

Yes it was. 7 touchdowns to 3 field goals. (49-9) Alabama watched the video and found where the "air attack" was vulnerable. Hopefully Vandy will be a win. Went to bed at the end of the 3rd quarter. Was tired from being at festival all day yesterday. Good day for it weather wise and was well attended.

Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

This Week 234.7

My mom (91) passed away Thursday morning. My sisters went to visit her at the home and found her unresponsive, staff said she was well at breakfast. By the time my brother and I got there (a 45 minute drive) she was gone. We knew her time was limited as dementia had taken it's toll, but this mercifully happened quickly and she is at peace with dad.

Lost both parents within 10 months. Sad, but they lived well lives.

I watched the game and it was a great one. As the saying goes, "the sun shines on a dogs ass once in awhile." It was funny to see all 100k pls fans storm the field with no regard to Covid. Looks like security guards lead the way over the fence.

Weight is about the same. I don't really bother worrying about +/- a pound or two unless it trends that way over a few weeks.

Texas A&M Football on Twitter:

Last week: 186.0

This week: 185.0

I live in Texas but I AM NOT an A&M fan! I am biased against Alabama. Didn'****ch entire game because of going to bed with TV on. Woke up about the time it was over and based on the jubilation in the back ground knew they had won. Alabama will be in Starkville this Saturday and I have to work because of annual fall festival. DVR will be set. Several games of note yesterday. OU over TX (crap), Boise State beat BYU, LSU fans disappointed by losing to Kentucky. Coach O may be scratching his unemployed ass by the end of the year if not sooner.

Exercise and yard work above par this week.

Have a Great Week, Guys!!

I've often thought about the Kevin Spacy movie where he quits a good job and goes to work at a burger drive through.

After a career of dealing with people, and often times not in the best of cir****tances, I'm thinking any gig not dealing with people would be ideal!

162.4lbs

Minus a 1lb or 2 from last week.

Exercise is pretty good but I'm doing a little less. An odd result of weight loss surgery for me is an inability to add bulk muscle regardless of what I eat or lift. It's a tradeoff I'm good with but I have to work out regularly to stay fit and keep any muscle.

I work in tech which is both interesting and maddening. The maddening part has become to big a part of my everyday routine. I may need to take some time away. I've often thought about the Kevin Spacy movie where he quits a good job and goes to work at a burger drive through.
