I have been working all weekend in my yard. My weighing on this morning was disappointing, but after it was not :-)

Hope all are doing well.
Trying to cut back on the carbs but it is a daily struggle. Not happy with how much diet soda I'm slurping down during the work week but one battle at a time.
Didn't do much this weekend besides cutting the grass and doing our shopping. Poor little car is always so packed getting groceries for 2 weeks for 5 adults. Usually fill the trunk and most of the back seat.
Daughter may be out of the house but she will not be out of your life!
Good deal that you got to see your mother! 
As much as I was dragging my feet about getting vaccinated got my second shot last Thursday. Breast cancer survivor wife hinted she would like to travel some again herself preferably with me beside her.

I forgot to log in last week, as it was my daughters Prom weekend. We are going to be empty nesters. I'm not sure how we are going to handle that :-)
It's been a good two weeks, but been raining almost every day. Grass is growing a lot but it is too wet to mow. I do know that I will not be able to mulch as it has grown a lot in two weeks, and I hate bagging.
Made the Mrs. a nice prime rib yesterday and all the kiods came over. It was a good day!

Went to see mom for the first time in a long time today. She's doing great and looks better than me.
I'm +6lbs this week but mostly bloat. Got the 2nd vaccine shot and looking forward to a modest amount of travel.

Think a couple pounds of the latest run up is bowels moving slow but most is carbs.
Put seat covers and a bug guard on the car this weekend. Also changed the Cabin air filter which pretty obviously hadn't been changed since the car was new. The air filter on this car is a real PITA to get to (the cabin air filter is only moderately annoying) so I've ordered one on the assumption that it probably hasn't been changed either. Oldest daughter will be home next weekend which we are looking forward to.
If no one else has posted by the time I check in I'll start the thread.

If this was the female involved - I've been drunk and I've been horny but I have NEVER been that drunk or that horny!! 
Took Mom out for seafood last night to beat the crowds today. Older brother back pedaled saying allergies had him feeling puny. Can believe it. Windy because of front coming today. Made it nicer mowing the yard yesterday but still got plenty of sunshine. May be time to break out the shorts.
Need a volunteer for next Sunday!

Some oil slicks are worth it, but can be problematic. I've had too many lately so I have to tone down fat consumption.
