One more week before I get a week of staycation/honeydos. I usually struggle a bit with the time change so I always try to get the week of the change off in the Spring and the Fall. Work is struggling, we're shorthanded so Friday they were running 3 hours behind. Looking forward to the reprieve.
Planned on getting Halloween candy at Sam's during our normal grocery shopping trip and they were completely cleaned out.

No really my diet, but obviously it needs some attention.
Bought some candy bars today for tonight. We don't get too many trick or treaters, so the little temptations will be around a while :-) Had a decent week, most of it was below last weeks weight, but last night there was an open bag of chips next to me.....

Stressful as hell work week, exercise has been a little lame probably due to work, NY football has not been kind (for past few decades).

Work's still long and hard but have kinda found a groove. Watched a couple movies with the wife and oldest son this weekend. Otherwise didn't do much. Taking some time off in a couple weeks to recharge (the time change always messes with me so it's nice to have a week to adapt instead of doing it in a day).

Wife's surgery Wednesday, she's mending nicely, threw exercising out of whack. Did knock off yard yesterday in record time. Had to reweld broken bracket on mower this time with the rear wheel off allowing me to get closer to what I was doing. Not the greatest bead ever ran but it held!
Road trip next weekend, if wife feels up to it, so we will need lead off man next week.

We've been venting the house in the evenings since temps dropped here too. Helps with the dog smell too!

Magnolia leaves and seed pods are the worst! Leaves are large, thick and have an apparent immunity to being mulched or burned. Seed pods are like hitting baseballs with a mower. Raking does suck!

Strained my back Monday morning so I missed a couple days of work this week. Only fell about 4 feet and landed on my feet, but it was on concrete. I was in a lot of pain and had trouble getting around. After lots of Advil and Tylenol and couple days of rest I was able to go back to work. I was moving slow and still achy the first day back but I've been off of Advil and Tylenol since Friday night and don't feel too bad now.
Definitely cooled down here over the weekend. Overnight lows dropped 10-15 degrees, daytime highs about 10 degrees. Put up my shorts and dug out some of my fall and winter garb. Not ready for the long underwear yet, but using the thermal shirts and probably will be rocking the sweaters and sweatshirts in a week or two.
Cut the grass last weekend, took it easy this weekend, hopefully have maybe one more mow this year.

The cool weather has arrived. We went from 80 to 57 in 24 hours. A fair amount of rain, so the lawn needs mowing, but still rain on and off all weekend. I don't mind the cool weather, but hate the leave. I have a couple of huge pin oaks around they drop acorns and leaves all fall and into Winter. Raking just plain sucks!
