Had our first snow Thursday evening as the Browns won against the steelers. It was a great feeling since they were so ****y.
Friday got together with my brother and sisters foe "siblings" day. Went across town to ou favorite Slovenian butcher shop and bought keilbasa, Then off to the West Side Market. It is a well known landmark in Cleveland, hit a few more places then a late lunch. We try and do this several times a year. Got started near the end of the pandemic while visiting our parents at their nursing home. After they passed we decided to carry it on in their memeory. Perfect timing as I just canned 41 lbs of home made sauerkraut. I wil keep for about a year fresh in the refrigerator. I have a small frij in the basement just for kraut (that it all didn't fit in this time) Trying to keep alive some old traditions and foods from our parents/grandparents.

Lots of really good football this week! Auburn needed four OT's to beat Texas A&M, Notre Dam beat Army, the neighbors to the North, Oklahoma handed Alabama their ass, Florida handed Ol' **** their ass so they will be wanting to take that out on State Friday at the Egg Bowl. With first year head coach, second string QB and overall crappy year State has had - glad we did not get tickets this year. Next year - ordering them after first of the year! 
Missed going. No job in the way either.

Nothing in law enforcement. Told my wife this morning it has been two nights without the dreams/nightmares I usually have. Don't know if it is dehydration or lack of stress but blood pressure is running way low too. May be going to see PCP in morning.

Last weeks mini vacation and my neices wedding last night made for a little ding on the scale this morning. Should be back on routine this week after relative leave Tuesday.
Don, I don't blame you. You are retired and you don't need to take any crap. Since you came from LE, finding something else, if you choose to, should be fairly easy. My buddy got hired at the local library as non uniformed security. The librarians (all female) are happy to have him around. It's cut down a lot on youth troubles and a few creeps.
I'm fortunate to be only three days a week and am left pretty much on my own.

1-4 in college rankings won like they should. Few surprises though. S. Carolina muscled passed Missouri who State plays next week. Florida upset LSU and same can be said for UGA over Tennessee.
As to meme. Pardon the F-word. Told my employer to stick it in their ear and turned in my gear Friday. I am full on retired now. 
Four months was enough. Issues from both sides. Knew it was a short-term gig and getting written up Thursday hastened my departure.

Mrs. and I celebrated #5 yesterday. Went to Hillsboro, TX to look around and get lunch. She'd never been there and it had been a while for me. Wind up at a "Branded Burger" where they brand their hamburger buns. Good burger. We split it of course. After that it was to a small museum of roadside memorabilia that had dozen or so restored cars. Had to get home because 03:30 comes early!
Listened to Cowboys today while working. Yeesh. Dak having hamstring surgery soon and will be gone rest of the season.

Destin FLA has been a nice break. Absolutely nothing planned, just doing what sounds interesting. One more day, anyone have a must do?

Despite the extra hour of promised sleep I did not get it! Still have projection alarm clock I use and I did not need to adjust it but I did and it reset itself at 1:00. Get it straightened out and roll over. Damn dogs! 03:30 came hard this morning. Mercifully day was slow. Like the Cowboys today. Close but no cigar. M-State probably got their last win of the year yesterday against U. Mass in a Homecoming chump game.

Understand paying someone who is better than you at task/chores/projects. Have power washer/porch painter/rotted wood replacer waiting on me to pull the trigger.
Congratulations to your Browns today beating Baltimore. Watching Cowboys and Forty-niners till can'****ch no more. 03:30 comes early.
