Wife and son cut the grass so I didn't do much this weekend. Working lots of hours. Supposed to be downright summerlike this week. Bought some shorts in anticipation of the heat (wasn't happy with the ones I've used the last 2 summers).

Brother, wife and I took our mom to supper last night. Weren't the only ones doing that based on the demographics in the room. Worry every holiday about it being the last. Then again, she could wind up outliving both of us! In the annals of history it has happened before.
Three-day week last week was a sum***** 
Work truck still in shop so had to use the "grandpa" car. 2008 Crown Victoria we keep as a spare. Has less than 37,000 original miles, runs like a scalded dog but needs some TLC. Chief was barely back from TN but had Workers Comp doctor appointments. Leaves tomorrow for Amarillo for a murder trial. We caught the turd and gun here so that is how we are involved. Lest forget rained like cow ******g on flat rock Thursday. Stopped up drain caused flooding inside our building. We share it with two other tenants and everyone took water to one degree or another.
Getting back into exercise routine after vacation difficult. Only managed to get on rower once but yesterday was yard day. Feeling it.

Vacation short and sweet. Only lost "weight" in the wallet. Had fun though and saw some great looking classic cars at the car museum.

+3lbs but nothing a good bathroom run won't fix.
Exercise is good, business looks promising. I'm definitely getting a lot more activity now that the weather is turning nicer, and the dog has transitioned from young puppy to wild energetic beast.

With lots of yard work yesterday, and a good week on eating, I put on overnight. Damn!
Bought a new used car this week. Stepping up from my 2003 Hyundai Accent to a 2018 Subaru Outback. Oh my, the changes.
What the hell with all the electronics? :-) And it didn't even come with an 8track player :-)

Had a productive weekend. Got my DOT physical done for work, got my second booster finally (fourth time was the charm), and switched winter clothes for summer in my dresser (still have a couple pieces out just in case and to avoid jinxing Spring).

Didn't have time to post yesterday. Spent some time in ER getting some stitches. I didn't know there was a broken mason jar in the trash when I pulled it out of the can. Opened my had up like a cut sausage. Luckily no damage, just a deep cut. And also luckily I had gotten the lawn mowed and some yardwork done. :-)
