We had a Labor Day party yesterday , so I didn't have a chance to post until today. Rained the whole day, but didn't hinder a good gathering and lots of good food (which showed up on the scale this morning). Have to completely empty the garage today as we are getting our driveway and garage floor replaced this week. You don't realize how much crap you accumulate until you have to remove it :-)
Good week to all
I'm down 4 or 5lbs mostly due to having Covid a week or two ago. Luckily back to normal now and putting the weight back on including back to exercise routine. The entire Covid thing seems to have transitioned at this point to common cold type event, so I'm guessing we'll all be getting it every year or two.

One of the drivers at my location quit Friday so it'll be interesting to see how this week plays out. The short staffing is just getting worse. But I did get my computer up and running this weekend. Wifey has been battling some kind of crud (not Covid according to the doctor's office) that has had her down for the count the past few days.
Trying to post quickly before I head off to work so I don't have time to chase down a meme. Hope all are doing well and having a great weekend.,

Had a 15+ hour day at work Thursday so I was ready for the weekend. The computer parts didn't show up, they are lost somewhere between here and California. Hopefully UPS can find them soon. Sigh. Watched a movie with the wife and oldest son last night which was fun.

Wow! That is a lot of rain!
Got the lawn taken care of yesterday and spent the rest of the day in the pool. Today is going to be a grilling (Carne Asada) and pool day also.
Good week to all!

It was a wet ass week! 5" in the rain gauge There were other places that saw closer to 9-10". Everything is greening back up. Was actually going to do entire yard yesterday but the metal part of one of the valves stems separated from the rubber part. Could not air it up. Going to run over to my mother's and get her zero turn so I can do that. Not home next weekend so really wanted to get it done this weekend.
Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Remember it well. Played it a few times in the radio days of my yout'.
Home grown tomatoes are tasty. Some of the best tomatoes I've ever tasted grew voluntarily on the sludge drying beds of the local sewer plant. Same thing for okra and the "Devil's lettuce". Sewer boss remined us not to dispose of any weed with seeds by flushing it!

Have the parts for the computer ordered, they should be hare Friday so I have next weekend booked (it's a prebuilt I bought during the pandemic when parts were impossible to get so it's going to be a pain to fix). Gave the yard a quick hit and did the usual payday errands and the weekend was gone.
