Cleveland has it's own (Slovenian) style of Mardi Gras called Kurentovanje. Cleveland has the largest population of Slovenians outside of Slovenia and for the last 11 years they have been bringing it back together with a parade, ethnic food, drink and lots of polka bands. A family friendly great event. Pictured below is a Kurent, a mythical creature that comes out before Lent to scare Winter away.
I suddenly gained 5lbs this week and haven't been able to shake it. I've heard many stories of people suddenly losing the WLS edge between 5 to 10 years out so I'm always watching out for that. Anyhow, I deserve the blubber from crappy eating decisions.
The Sports world is somewhat boring with NFL, MLB off-season and NBA using temp replacements for All-Star week skills competitions. Looking forward to MLB kicking off the season in about 6 weeks.

"Let the good times roll!" Party like a rock star because Midnight Tuesday night starts Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. Did a few of these as a kid growing up there. Best part was my dad worked downtown and we could go to his office building to use the bathroom! I think "baked goods" from Starbucks will be off the table for us after Tuesday.

First normal week in a while. Didn't do much this weekend, though with Spring trying to get an early start I wouldn't be shocked if in a few weeks I have to start thinking about cutting the grass.
Good news selfishly is Cincinnati didn't make the game which improves the odds I'll be able to get out on time from the warehouse. I imagine we'll still have a lot of absences (Have one guy who scheduled time off for his hangover already). Hope everyone has a good bowl watching experience.

As long-term Cowboys fan it would be blasphemous of me to take the Eagles to win so I'll take the Chiefs. One thing for sure the winning team, as well as the losing team, will have one of the Kelce brothers playing for them.

Same here with some freezing rain/sleet starting Tuesday. 1/32nd of ice and kids get out of school. They won't be able to tell their grandkids about walking seven miles in the snow to school! 
How the clothes fit is a whole lot better indication of how you are doing than the scales. Have some jeans that are letting me know I've got some work to do.
