I was going to comment on how it will be 85 today, then I read Don's...never mind :-)
Some nice weather so maybe I'll get in the pool for the first time this season. Maybe cut the lawn, maybe go to Costco. Nothing really planned, and that is OK with me.
Don, have any plans on what to do when you retire? I'm a little nervous about that for myself. I like to cook, so that's not the best hobby for a bariatric patient. Yardwork is satisfying, but Summer is only a few months here in upper Ohio.

Triple digits all week so water and AC are mandatory! Did knock off yard yesterday and rowing on track this week. Retirement paperwork is turned in. Debating if I want any type of shindig to celebrate my departure. Leaning away from having one.

Mowed the lawn even though it didn't really need it. More of to just get the tall spots down and get some exercise.
Wife and kids took me out to breakfast Saturday and yesterday had some family over for a cook out. A good Father's Day.
Congrats on the retirement coming up! I plan on it January 3, 2024. I had my first retirement counseling session last week to go over forms and what needs to be done. 40+ years in...... still not sure what I want to do when I grow up :-) Don, my wife is already planning on sending me back :-)

Had a long week capped off with a 15 hour day Friday. So I knocked down the grass on Saturday but didn't do much else.

What's Father's Day without Maury?
Little up but attributing it to copious amounts of water I drank doing the yard work yesterday. Heat index was like 105-110. Despite the Banana Boat Sport SPF 50+ feeling little burnt this morning. Chief gone last week for school and more of the same for this week. Turning in paperwork for retirement this week. August 10th is the day. Wife will probably send me back after I'm home a month!

Still been fighting the crud. It is slowly retreating and today we got a fair bit of rain so hopefully the air will be much cleaner (we've had a lot of haze and smoke even last week). Have 2 guys out on vacation the end of this week so I imagine work could get interesting.
Our son who's been out of contact with us for a few months dropped by a couple times this week. He seems to be doing well which is a relief.
