I do a crock pot with my own meat and vegetables. Choose either lean chicken or beef. I'll fry it with a very little amount of oil first. Then grab your crock pot. Add a ton of vegetables. Herbs and spices. I put in red wine for my stew/soup. Some of the vegetables I'll use is; cabbage, a few red potatoes, celery, lentils, zucchini, carrots, spinach, tomatoes, etc. Leave on low for many hours...Come home and the food is ready. Maybe try it on your days off to see how firm/limp you want your vegetables...More stew or soup...You decide. I'll put it in small containers in the freezer. Just pick at each container I bring out over many days, when I feel like it. Also if you are ready, you should try some Wendy's Chili...Good eats.
In my pockets I will keep; plain Cheerios, rye crackers, plain nuts (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, pistachio, pecans), raisins. Brian

Pre surgery weight (2/1/17): 283
Two weeks ago: 233.9
This week: 231.6 (Monday morning)
Was on vacation for Spring Break, and missed last Sunday's weigh-in. I had a higher calorie intake - averaged about 900+ calories per day for the week, vs. more like 750 when I'm home and working. I can and will do better! Also didn't get as much exercise, so I'm getting back on track with that this week too.
Couple weight goals not too far away - will be happy to get below 228 (100 lbs lost from high weight) and then below 220 (less than 100 kg), and then of course the distant and mythical 199.
In the winter, I will make chili and chicken vegetable soup to keep in the freezer. I wing it in the summer.
I bought some 1 cup containers and put leftovers in them and freeze. I keep them in a freezer at work. I also like to put Brussels sprouts or over frozen veggies in small containers and freeze for snacks. A few sticks of chicken or beef jerky are good for non perishables.

Happy Easter and nothing beats your own bed and shower.
Never underestimate the importance of weighing POST morning constitutional! Got a pound off the original number displayed on the scales this AM.
Couple of notables from last week:
1. My zero turn mower is now ALL mine! Not mine and KUBOTA Financials.
2. 4/7 was my 9th Surgiversary! I may not be at the 170-175 I want to be at but 182'ish beats the 331 pounds I started from.
Have a Great Week!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Happy Easter everyone! I was on travel for work which involved a lot of walking and stair climbing. Looks like it worked out, but it sure is nice to be home :)

What do you guys make to eat for a week? I posted something similar in the Diet / Nutrition area. I am curious because I want to make some batch things on Sunday that I can have throughout the week and think about what I am eating less each day and make it a bit more automatic.
Thanks,
-Dwayne

Tough week at a convention. Two more tough travel/holiday weeks. I guess I walked more this week than I thought. Eating was mindful, but I know I was far from perfect.
I will be traveling next Sunday again. Ughh
