Merry Christmas and a good week to all!
We, as a family, are the world's worst shoppers and the hardest to buy for! Mom has more stuff than any octogenarian needs and older brother is a homebody almost to the point of being agoraphobic. It's why we do gift cards to Walmart and the grocery store plus one to TSC or O'Reilly's. Sent them text giving them a list of our preferences on where our gift cards should come from. Nearest Macy's is in Dallas and the Mrs. was not thrilled to have to go up there shopping.
Good luck on the retiring and I hope yours gets off to a better start than mine did. Waxing my ass and tearing up my back really put me in a lousy mood that is slowly improving the more I can get back to doing.

Mine is just about done. Luckily I only have to shop for my wife. She takes care of the kids and everyone else.

Rut-roh!
Got mine done!! Other than a minor thing or two no more shopping for me! Zales redeemed themselves after last year's fiasco that sent me to Tyler on Christmas Eve!
Nothing exciting from here. Back to doing a full 8 miles on rower again. More worried about doing the distance than best time at this juncture.

I track my weight daily and I just verified it's within a half pound over the past week, month and 6 months. I guess the wls did it's job.
I've been better than usual about exercise and prepping in advance for Xmas. Everything else in my life is off track but I guess that's part of life.

Nothing really new here. Went out last week with my brother and sisters to buy some Slovenian kielbsasa for Christmaas. It has been too warm (in the 50s) to hang it in the shed to dry, but it will be getting back in the 30's tomorrrow. My garage frij smells like a smoke house, but I'm not complaning. Reminds me of my childhood. Christmas party for my building this week, I'll be making kielbasa and home made kraut.

Weather nice enough even with dry cold front yesterday to mulch leaves in fence closest to the house. Spent early part of week working on old tractor and POS side by side I bought to help somebody out early this year. At some point they had put a mower battery on it so that is what I went back with. Right size battery would have gone in easy from top. Lawn mower battery had to go in from bottom! 
Back was letting me know I had over done it that night in bed.

Weights stable but exercise is down a bit on the cardio due to daylight savings limiting outdoor activity. I've been good on heading to the gym most nights, which makes up for terrible eating choices.
College football has been stellar, especially important since my Jets NFL playoff hopes died 72 seconds into the season. I felt bad for FS and Georgia but think the ranking as of this week is about right. The real issue is a lack of spots for deserving teams. Next year will fix that at least for undefeated squads.
