198...I'll take that any day!! Back to more activities...Pruning, mowing, running errands. I need to enjoy tortilla chips at night, but not go hog wild on them. Brian

I sort of flatlined, at least from Sunday to Sunday. I was just a hair under 275 today, so essentially unchanged from last week. I did dip down as low as 272 1/2, so I expect this is just part of my normal fluctuation. Over the next couple of days I anticipate getting back down there again.

There are Christmas goodies in abundance everywhere. I am indulging just a bit, but keeping a tight rein on it. If I can get through to January without seeing any real gain, I will be happy.

It is exceedingly cold here right now, unseasonably so, so exercise has been curtailed. We shall see how that affects things.

I was 195 yesterday. I ate mindfully, and even shoveled some snow. Only to be damned this morning on the scale :-)

Looking forward to over two weeks off (use or lose time) and getting some inside things done. Hope I can keep my hand to mouth disease in control.

Good week to all!

Oops. Numbers going up. Resembles credit card balances. Only place I know where the numbers are going lower are in the checking account and my wallet!

Work week last week - literally went to the dogs. Hoarder of sorts on 20 day vacation at Dallas VA medical center. Had enough sense to wear a dirty uniform and had old work boots on instead of regular black tactical boots. Heaven only knows what all I was walking on in the dark! 11 dogs in house at one point. Roomie took his to another location, two dead and other eight were seized. Can't have a court hearing to determine what happens to the dogs till guy is out of the VA! Animal Control 101: No such thing as a "bad" animal. It is "bad" owners! Got home left boots in garage, dropped everything in utility room and through clothes in wash and me in shower.

Go do your thing!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Better week for eating, but I still have a long way to go. Ate mindfully but made a couple bad choices. Water was a little variable with a couple travel days. I did well on my days at home. Exercise continues to improve.

This is a winding down week for me this year. Most of the week will be wrapping up 2017 and preparing for vacation. Speaking of which, I won't be back here till New Years Eve. There's been a lot of negotiating going on about food over the holiday's. There'll be some good choices, along with some bad ones. I need to stay mindful.

The lions game last night was fun. Can't stand the color rush uni's, but that's just me. Too bad they weren't able to play like that for more games this year. I guess there's an outside chance they make the playoffs, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Have a great week and a joyous holiday season. Please have a great time, but please be safe as well.

Merry Christmas

Looks like he is doing great in his journey. Not sure what his first WLS was, but it sounds like his second one was a DS done lap.

199-200 I've gained over the weeks. I've had a cold since last Wednesday. I've done less work, but still grazed during this time. My downfall is tortilla chips!! All that oil, fat, and carbs...But they taste so good. Cold is almost gone...I mowed the front lawn yesterday. That helped. I need to keep moving or drop the junk food...Common sense I know...Just need to do it. Brian

I must be living right! Been really trying to watch the eats and get in more exercise when I can.

Congratulations Grandpa!

Grim Reaper working his ass off lately around where I work. One of the HS seniors with preexisting condition, a couple of the turds and Friday morning our utility secretary's youngest son, mid-20's, died in a house fire. Parents are numb. Funeral is tomorrow.

On the bright side nice agency assist this week. Short chase, five in custody, property recovered and one of the five had 12 outstanding warrants. Two felonies and rest misdemeanors. Still doing the reports!

Looks like Christmas shopping is in the bag - literally. Few minor things left but majority done.

As you were.

Congrats on the new addition!

Did real good on eating and exercise for most of the week. But Friday rolled around and went out with the Mrs. Then last nigh****ching TV at home and mindless consumption of salty buttery popcorn (hot air popped of course) :-) I had last weeks weight beat yesterday, but this morning was a different story.

Good week to all!

Congratulations on the grandchild! We've got six as well. Four we get to see on a regular basis, but the other two live 1100 miles away, so we don't see them as often.

After writing last week how I was happy where I was, I dropped two more lbs to 274, which was yesterday's weigh in. I am back up a pound to 275 today, but that is normal fluctuation for me. So net loss as of this morning is 1 lb for the week.
