Hi All. Long time no post. I had been stuck in 240s for a few years and was frustrated. About 2 months ago I did a 60 hour fast. Now I do 1 24 hour fast a week. Not ideal way to do it but happy as I'm trying to get down to 215 where I felt best.

Have a happy healthy week!

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

He did not, but I am preparing for swelling from my shoulders to my knees. That ought to about cover it.

She loves it so much that I have to go to Texas if I want to see her.

Baylor great school! Know lots of Bears. Mostly lawyers. Literally is 75-80 miles down the road from me.

It's been an interesting week here. I've got some post stone issues that I hope to have resolved soon. The good news is they should not interfere with surgery. I've been bouncing around the upper 250s for weeks now. Surgery is two weeks from tomorrow, so I'll drop maybe 10 lbs or so, swell up from swelling, and hopefully stabilize around 250. If I were to get down to 240 I will have literally lost half my body weight. I have a feeling I'll look like a refugee of some sort at that weight though.

Don, my wife is rolling her eyes at the bad jokes, but she knew that before she married me. I came close to getting smacked when I said something at the doctor's office about getting her a nurse outfit since she'll be nursing me back to health.

John, I can identify with the corn on the cob thing. I figure if I'm going to have corn these days, it's coming out of a bottle. Berries abound on our property most years, but the pickings were slim this summer. We usually get quart after quart of blackberries, wine berries, and mulberries. What the heck, they're good carbs, right.

Last week 257 lbs

This week 258 1/4 lbs

Have a good week!

Well its getting to be that time of year and Don has already mentioned football, so I think that I need to come clean and mention this - I am a New England Patriots fan. Although I live in in Chicago, I was born and raised outside of Boston and still root for the Boston teams (except hockey). At least I am not a bandwagon jumper. For college I root for Baylor because my daughter attends. Certainly they are not an overdog.

Solid week weight wise, hopefully I can replicate it this week. Mostly attributable to eating at home vs. in restaurants, I think.

Everybody have a great week.
