Mississippi State hammered Stephen F. Austin 63-6 in Starkville. Got rained on and went under the stands for a few minutes then went back to seats. Dawgs go to Kansas State this Saturday.
John - I wish a vest would hold in as much heat in the Winter as they do in the Summer! Always have beverage at hand.
Bill - stay away from the ****waffles on the other boards! They tend to take an "expert" stance when they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Do come back here though.
Greateight - welcome to the wild side!
Have to labor on Labor Day.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I missed last week due to a whole bunch of excitement not related to here.
Two weeks ago I was at 257 1/2 lbs.
Today I was at 256 lbs even.
I am not sure I will stick around much longer. I keep getting in trouble with the women on this site. My most recent problem was posting a meme to describe how I responded to other people. One of the women who run this place responded with a counter meme designed to be insulting. I wrote her privately twice, but no response was forthcoming.
I don't need to be here. I have been successful beyond my wildest dreams. And it is not worth dealing with the ****s just to be around. They did not help me. They wouldn't even if I begged.
I hope everybody is enjoying the labor day weekend!
I'm back home and recuperating. The actual RNY isn't really that painful at all. What does hurt is that I had a liver biopsy which isn't a laproscopic procedure. So that has stitches and they sting when standing or in transition. My throat is still sore as well from the tubes. Wednesday (surgery day) is pretty much a blur at this point.
Enjoyed watching Notre Dame/Michigan and parts of Washington/Auburn yesterday. Fall is the best.
Last Week 295.6
Surgery Weight 289.2
I had 52 full hours of IV drips, so I'm going to wait until my Friday follow up appointment to step on the scale.

Spent the week in Texas...Damn it was hot. Walking around a steel mill in full PPE was tough. @Don1962, I was thinking about you working in your PPE every day. Food could have been better, but also could have been worse. I have a hard time staying away from Mexican food in Texas, and the damn chips especially. At least I stayed home from the MN state fair this year, which probably saved me 3000 calories.
This time of year is great for fresh fruit and veggies. The sweet corn has been awesome, and the tomatoes are fantastic as well. I'm fortunate to have local farms I can get fresh corn and tomatoes every day. Now apples are starting to come into season.
In theory, summer's done with the start of college football. It was tough day for the Wolverines, but ND played great. Harbaugh has a lot of work to do.
Have a great week this week.
Start of 6 month pre-op diet (2/14): 320 lbs.
8/20: 285.2 lbs.
8/28: 286 lbs.
Surprised I gained a little. I've been really focused on my eating, daily steps, and exercise the past 2 weeks.
On the plus side, I've completed my 6 month weight management program and all my pre-surgery requirements. Now the office just has to submit my case to my insurance and I have to wait for approval.
Any strange sounds or vibrations from your abdomen after Wednesday - have your surgeon call his cell phone! You'll be fine. May have a case of the "what the Hell have I done to myself" but those too shall pass.
Off Friday to road trip to Starkville, MS to watch Mississippi State and Stephen F. Austin play Saturday night.
