Last week 212.4

This week 212.8

Looking forward to the extra money I'll be making this week (Get an extra 8 hours for the holiday, plus my monthly safety and attendance bonus, plus pay for some online training I had to do). Also imagine I'll see a few fireworks through the windshield. One of my daughters DMs a D&D game at the house and they've been ordering Pizza. I have discovered I can eat a slice of thin crust and not die (or wish that I had) so I've had pizza the last two weekends. My ambition for next weekend is to make a fathead pizza for at least my own consumption and head this off at the pass.

Been struggling a bit with fatigue. It's gotten fairly hot (low 90s) and I'm not sweating profusely like I did when I was heavy but it just completely zaps me. Been trying to push fluids because I've been flirting with dehydration. After doing the family grocery shopping marathon (4 stores including Sam's to get all the special requests) I wound up flopped on the recliner and downed a large unsweet tea from Sam's, a 20 oz bottle of water and an 11 oz coconu****er. So I think I was a little parched.

Congratulations, Don! I know that we prematurely congratulated you back at Christmas, but now it is the real deal. I am going to one of my best friends second wedding celebrations next weekend. They just had a quiet wedding in Nantucket and then are having a party back at their house.

Ate like a Bariatric patient this week and the scale showed it. Determined to get to 195 and complete "Glen" workout before declaring maintenance.

Better! Getting back on track post vacation with the walking and trying to eat better. The crockpot is mine and finance's best appliance. Crockpotted roast or beef tips, ham steaks from the store, grilled/boiled shrimp and Dickie's Bar-B-Que turkey, ribs or pulled pork are primary protein sources. Sides are another issue. Some of the choices we make are not the best.

In other news: Either the third time is a charm or three strikes and you're out. There was an escalation in our relationship. Proposed in Vegas, she said "yes", she's got her dress already! Still have pre-nups and wedding planning to do. That around Summer, football road trips and school audits later in the years. Woman moves from Metro Atlanta, GA to BF Trinidad, TX, pop. 886, just for you and been here three+ years. You put ring on it!

Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!!

Ain't nothing like taking a shower, getting gussied up, walking out the door and WHAM! You're sweating like a race horse!

Keep going, you're still a fat ******* (kidding). I can only use that amongst fellow former morbidly obese guys.

Since you had the DS in December 18, you'll likely be losing weight for up to another year albeit much slower. I had the SADi DS with a goal weight of 185lbs, and bottomed our at 135. Yes everyone thought I had cancer. I gained back 25lbs ... still skinnier than I ever planned but healthy and good with it.

214.2 Last Week
212.3 Today

Finally close to summer weather in the Cleveland area, and three days in a row without rain! Getting all the yardwork in I can, even though yard is still wet from two months of nothing but rain 6 out of 7 days a week. We've set some records. Even though it is cold here for June, I don't envy the TX heat (except in Dec-Feb)

Good week to all

This week 212.4

My goal started out at 200 plus or minus 15, so 185-215. So I supposed I am at 'goal' now. My goals have shifted and I'm hoping now to wind up around 185 plus or minus 10, but realistically I have no grounds for complaint at this point even if I don't lose another pound.

10 weeks until college football is pretty exciting. Not that I am trying to wish the summer away, it just got here in Chicago (barely). Me and my daughter have been trying to get to all of the Big 12 stadiums. This year we are going to see Baylor play at Kansas. Should be a win.

Whoa Nellie! Seems that changing the batteries made me gain weight. Good on the exercise and yard work this week but guess I'm catching up on grazing I missed on vacation. Heat indexes of 100+ so drinking copious amounts of water.

Tomorrow night is the fianl game of the College World Series. Michigan vs (2) Vanderbilt. Don't have a dog in the fight but Vandy would be my choice. If they keep the "whistler" quiet should be tolerable to watch. The "whistler", think there may be two of them, all game long do this 3 or 4 note whistle that gets really irritating! Think the ESPN sound folks could not filter it out enough and told the NCAA to have them cease and desist.

On another sports note - the college football season starts in ten weeks as of yesterday! Finallizing hotel reservations and have a pending deal for someone to buy the remaing tickets to the home games we won't be going to. Time for some cowbells and tailgating!

Have a Great Week, Gents!!

We had a great time at Wrigley Field watching Dead & Company last night. Weather wasn't warm, but the rain held off so we are returning all of the rain ponchos that we purchased Friday night and didn't have to use. I will come back and add a picture.

Suffice to say that there are certainly a number of early adapters for Illinois' new weed laws out in the crowd.

Good week weight wise for me. I can be smaller that Don Robbie for at least one more week.
