Whoa Nellie! Seems that changing the batteries made me gain weight. Good on the exercise and yard work this week but guess I'm catching up on grazing I missed on vacation. Heat indexes of 100+ so drinking copious amounts of water.
Tomorrow night is the fianl game of the College World Series. Michigan vs (2) Vanderbilt. Don't have a dog in the fight but Vandy would be my choice. If they keep the "whistler" quiet should be tolerable to watch. The "whistler", think there may be two of them, all game long do this 3 or 4 note whistle that gets really irritating! Think the ESPN sound folks could not filter it out enough and told the NCAA to have them cease and desist.
On another sports note - the college football season starts in ten weeks as of yesterday! Finallizing hotel reservations and have a pending deal for someone to buy the remaing tickets to the home games we won't be going to. Time for some cowbells and tailgating!
Have a Great Week, Gents!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
We had a great time at Wrigley Field watching Dead & Company last night. Weather wasn't warm, but the rain held off so we are returning all of the rain ponchos that we purchased Friday night and didn't have to use. I will come back and add a picture.
Suffice to say that there are certainly a number of early adapters for Illinois' new weed laws out in the crowd.
Good week weight wise for me. I can be smaller that Don Robbie for at least one more week.

Had our quarterly driver's meeting over breakfast at IHOP. It was fine other than feeling sick for a couple hours afterwards. It's still hard for me to keep watch on my pace and chewing when eating when I'm focused on a social setting.
Happy Fathers' day to all the dads out there.

*Replaced batteries in scales and they are still all over the place. Maybe time that they were retired.
Vacation good. Couple of degrees warmer than we would have cared for but still enjoyed ourselves and had fun. Saw the Beatles Love show at Mirage. Went to Laughlin, NV on a day trip. Lots of walking but was mostly done at a leisurely pace unlike on the treadmill.
Get home and had to play catch up. While I did the yard the Honey was on laundry and doggie retrieval details. Today is bill paying day. Lights, ISP etc. Like to keep all that up and running.
Lest I forget Happy Father's Day to the Dads amongst us!

Discovered I can eat thin crust pizza now which is nice but also not nice. Went down to 36 pants in the last couple weeks. Have some "new to me" 34s waiting in the wings (and a godawful huge pile of jeans for Goodwill once I get to maintenance).

Exercise has been really good since weather is turning nice, eating is ok.
Im working on getting a new business off the ground so it's always stressful but really interesting, and much more gratifying than life for me in a large corporation.

211.6 Today
Not much, but I'll take it, as I ate a little badly yesterday at my daughters birthday party.
A day full of yardwork always makes me feel better, as I can immediately see the results (in the yard, that is)
Good week to all

I'm trying to fill Don's shoes and lead us off this week. My weight had been a little down all week but its up a pound today. Better news is that I completed Fran for the first time ever. 21-15-9 of 95 pound thrusters and pull-ups. My time could have been measured on a sun dial compared to the real athletes, but still a great feeling.

That's me and the Peace Officer Exam. You didn't brag about your score but passing it on the first try! Had 3.
I had always learned it stood for Couldn't Pass it Again. Which is certainly how I feel after 31 years. My daughter will be taking hers in a year or so.
