Better than last week! I am trying to watch (My Fitness Pal) what I eat and it is helping.
Coming here, and my monthly bariatric group meeting is a real help. Here mostly :-)
Went to a Browns party with my sister, damn had some great pork belly and sausage.
Good week to all

Hey guys,
Last week 251.2
This week 248.7
Almost forgot to weigh in! knowing I would be accountable helped me stick to a plan. Back under 250 lbs again! Hopefully eventually I will get under my low of 247 lbs! Good day today, walked 9 holes of golf, played ok.
Last week 192.2
This week 192.6
It's strange because I have a small gain but if anything I seem to have shrunk a little. One of my man boobs is starting to look very unfortunate, so either I'm losing some more fat or I had a genetic contamination incident I'm unaware of and I'm slowly becoming Shar-Pei Man.
Bad week for racing back home. Had a runner in the park struck by lightning and a crash at a Drag Race in my home county. Both incidents were fatal unfortunately.

Happy Sunday, guys.
We went down to Florida for our 29th wedding anniversary last week. Had a great time, lots of swimming, the ocean water was so warm. I had my first post-surgery drink and first since July 2018. It didn't seem to hit me too hard. But I'm not looking to make a habit of it. I'm good enough at getting fat without the added calories from the booze.
Brought back an extra pound plus from Florida, so have to get after it this week.
My daughter was at the Baylor game yesterday. I'm going in two weeks against Tech. Also going to meet her boyfriend for the first time. Later we are going to the game at KU (November 30).

I know a lot of people don't like intermittent fasting but I've always been a fan of it. It seems pretty natural to me, and helps balance out the intermittent overeating we all do.

Not sure if he is using the camera to read the scales or look for Mr. Happy!
Auburn handed Miss State our ass yesterday 56-23. Next week is a bye week then on to Rocky Top to play Tennesse who had a bye yesterday but face GA before we go see them. Alabama rolled over "the school up North" (Ol' Piss) 59-31but nothing unexpected there. Clemson beat NC by the hair of their chinney, *****hin on stopping game winning 2 pt converson. Baylor made it exciting letting Iowa State rally back in the 4th quarter then winning on a field goal. Could hear the cheers from Waco 90 miles away! Cowboys in New Orleans to play the Saints tonight.
Work busy as usual. Sgt. is now officially the Chief and we lost one guy to his new job in Dallas County. Undermanned and overworked. Joys of life in a small town police department.
Scales were kind, sort of, with a small dip downward. Yard work yesterday helped. Not done last week because of road tripping so needed the full shabang yesterday. Treadmilling limited to just twice because knees were giving me static and little bit of OT too.
Have a Great Week, Guys!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Thanks. So true that we need to look at the successes we've had instead of dwelling on the negativity. 5 years and I'm still down almost a 100 lbs from before, and I'm healthy!! Gotta start using the tools we know of such as MFP, weighing food, eating less carbs and more protein, preparation and so forth. I'm also going to try Intermittent Fasting because it seems to be a lifestyle that I can sustain and helps with my caloric reduction. My lowest weight so far has been 247 lbs. Currently I'm at 252 lbs, my short goal is 235 lbs. Let's see what happened in the next few months?

First congrats on losing close to a c-note and getting in 10k steps a day. Most people don't achieve either of those.
I'm similar age to you, and that doesn't matter so much for your weight, especially given your exercise level. It's more a function of surgery type and your personal biome.
My suggestion would be to focus on the excellent successes you've had, and start tracking daily with a tool like MyFitnessPal to help keep yourself honest, and for early detection when things head south - which happens to all of us.
How much weight you're going to lose is in part a function of what Surgery, in part your eating and lifestyle post op, and in part genetic luck o' the draw. In general, malabsorptive procedures (DS, RnY) will produce a higher loss than restrictive only procedures (Sleeve, Band).
I have a DS which is the "big gun" of weight loss surgeries. A typical DS patient will have an excess weight loss of 73-85% depending which study you read. I had a high weight a bit over 350 pounds, but at the time of surgery I was down to 300. I'm bouncing around in the 190s at the moment 9 months postop. Based on the "typical" results I could be near the end of my loss or have another 20 pounds to go. I have read people who have done much better than I have and people who have done worse. However much I lose I still have my "bounce back" coming (most folks regain some after the post surgery weight loss ends.
