Nice dip in the right direction. Managed to get three sessions with the thread mill this week but no yardwork, unless I do it this afternoon, because of 1.75" of rain and a very noticeable cold front showing up. Warming back up into the 80's this week.
Saturday sucked football wise. Miss. State lost to TN in a sloppy game for both teams. State fans want Joe Moorhead GONE! In under two years has torn down all Dan Mullen built. Given the majority of defensive line last year is now playing in the NFL and we don't have a QB that is 1/10th of Dak Prescott either. LSU ran over Florida and LSU will be in Starkville next Saturday but we won't. Norma's work schedule, it is school auditing season, less than 4 weeks till we tie the knot - we can't lose three days for a road trip. Too much going on! Did manage to get a little over face value for them. Not enough to cover "alumni" fees but maybe two tanks of gas for Alabama game weekend after wedding. Speaking of whom they handed the Aggies their buttocks before leaving College Station. Clemson over FL State - no suprise there but GA losing to South Carolina is. Baylor took down Texas Tech and OU takes the Golden Cowboy hat from the Red River Shoot out back to Norman beating Texas.
Cowboys and Jets this afternoon.

Weights good, exercise is good, eating is bad. I guess the challenge is what keeps life interesting.
Go Jets, I mean Knicks, I mean Giants - well at least we have the Yankees. Otherwise I'd have to move.

LOVE that Dr Now!!!!
Sorry for late weigh-In. Pretty much stuck to my Intermittent Fasting and all except one day logged in my food at MFP. Had one hiccup Saturday and broke fast late at night, but got back up on the horse knowing I would be accountable for weigh-in. For the most part I did well although my Inept Sorry JETS did not! !
Got my exercise in, did 10,000 steps each day except for yesterday. Definitely harder to lose weight now but have to realize that slow and steady is the key, and each step contributes toward completing the journey. Back at my low again-247. Once I break under it, it'll be my first milestone!
Happy Monday, all!
I have a short work week because I am headed down to Texas for a meeting on Wednesday and then up to Waco to see my daughter and meet her boyfriend. Hopefully, we find our way to Pappas Brother on Wednesday or Thursday night. My work trip just happened to coincide with Baylor homecoming, so the free flight and car rental are being offset by jacked up hotel rates.
Don, I will be back for graduation in the spring, so maybe we can plan something then.

Haven't been eating all that well the last couple weeks but have been getting plenty of steps. Last week at work was kind of a mess. They changed the software we use for managing inventory and doing invoices and it's had the warehouse tied up in knots so I've been doing some extra work helping to get my trucks loaded and out the door.

I think that Friday night High School football is the best entertainment value in the country.

I'm happy about the drop in weight. Just have to keep it up. I'm adjusting a few things in my diet and supplements that I added on top of my vitamins and calcium. Yard work at minimal, as the grass ain't growing much, but leaves are starting to drop from the oak trees. Started touching up peeling paint on the house. It turning out to be a whole lot more than a few spots. Probably a new paint job next summer. Man I hate scraping and painting.
Now for sports talk. Most of you know I'm not too well versed in it. But, I have been into the our high school games. Most Fridays in the fall my wife and I get out to the game (our daughter is in the Marching Band). I have to admit we both now watch the game with enthusiasm. Friday - Pirates (our team) 33 - Blue Devils 22.
Tomorroe Browns vs 49ers
Good week to all

Guilty. Too much road kill this week. Was at in-service for two days this week so instead of normal protein bar lunch was Sonic cheese sticks and local cheap eats Tex-Mex tostada/chalupa. Not enough exercise and skipped yard work since not enough rain to make it grow tall enough to justify cranking up a mower. Good though since was able to chip down on "honey-do's" getting house ready for guest. Other than mom, brother and the Orkin man - never have company!
Jim - going to have to scratch meeting in Waco. Calender is just too full. Sorry.
Have a Great Week, Gents!!

Sorry guys...I didn't post for awhile. Then changed my browser to Firefox...OH lost my info. But I am back. The other day I weighed 204. I had posted pictures for all 13 years on OH at my anniversary date. But OH lost many of the years. Oct 9th 2006 was the date. I'll try and post a new picture for this year. Nothing new my way. I've had numbness in my hands and feet the last few months. Told my doctor...We ran the B-12 test. It was fine. It could be just age. Turned 64 a few weeks ago. Playing with my first grand kid...Second one on the way. 49ers are doing good. Cal continues to break my heart...Always hoping for a Rose Bowl bid before I die!! Later, Brian
Funny!
I weigh myself with my shoes and clothes on. I know most like to weigh themselves with their shoes off and only a towel, underwear or even naked. But I like to think my weight is as people see me, also it helps me when I do go to the Doctors, take my shoes off to be weighed and its a couple lbs lighter than what I think I am.
Great idea with the steps. I am fortunate to be in an office with a 2 floor large Storage warehouse behind me, I'm able to walk around it each day. Around and through the hallways of each floor is around 4,000 steps. So I go once in the morning for 30-35 mins, once in afternoon 30-35 mins, and some days I am able to get in about 15 mins of steps at another storage bldg down the street, so by the time I leave to go home I have my 8,500-10,000 steps at a good pace. Then once I get home I walk the dog about a mile or so (his pace of course) and that is about another 2,000 steps. I'm pretty consistent in doing this keeping track on my phone.
Now I just need to work on journaling the nutritional part. Although I am Intermittent Fasting I don't want to do like some and over eat in that 8 hour window. So I'm back to using MFP. Only been about been a week but a good start. Thanks for the encouragement!
