I didn't even bother weighing myself today. I had a bunch of crappy news all week and didn't need to pile on.
Heat wave is still going strong in the NYC area but I still prefer it over the cold winter. In the northeast the heat comes with a lot of humidity which makes it a lot worse than Texas or Arizona type heat, although still not as bad as Fla in the Summer.

Today breaks the weeklong heatwave of 90+ degrees all week. Pool goy a lot of use and the solare cover wasn't needed. Pool temp 88-90 all week. Cover will go in this morning, as temp outside presently is 73.
All the kids were over for a belated Father's Day. Got a "Dad Rocks" shirt that the kids made with some obscure artists on it. They must have been paying attention to what I listened too. You never know what they will remember you by. Pretty cool! Makes me wish I could talk to my dad about things I remember him by.

No dog in the CWS final but I will predict a team from the SEC will win it - again. This is some of the best baseball you'll see. These kids play their hearts out!

A full day of yardwork yesterday. Today having the inlaws over for steak and pool time. We are at the beginning of a 6 day in the 90's heatwave. That's a stretch in Ohio, but probably just an average week in Texas :-)

Only weight loss was in my wallet. Little run to Laughlin was fun but more expensive than anticipated. Took boat ride on the Colorado River to Lake Havasu to see the original London Bridge. I could learn to like life in the desert with access to water like that! Tha****er is clear and cold! Air temp was 110 degrees plus so tap water would feel good.
Bob, go with siding. Keeps painting to a minimum.

Exercise is always good in the Spring and Summer plus eating 25 to 30 lbs of fruit each week helps keep weight down and sweet tooth in check.
Sounds like you're more handy than I am Don. I usually go straight to hiring someone else.

Lots of outside work this week, and pretty much enjoying it. But I have to keep reminding myself to drink water and keep hydrated. NOT looking forward to scraping and painting the house. I'm seroiusly thinking of hiring someone to do it, or just get it $ided :-)
