There are times the back up camera is handy but I've been backing pickups with and without trailers for years. A non-dented license plate is/was a testament to your backing skills. Kills me to see the backing assist systems on trucks that let you see where the hitch is in relation to the trailer. That and the "invisible trailer" feature being offered. Takes the fun out of it!!
Drove my Corolla to 155,000+ miles and would have kept it but wanted something a little more roomy for longer trips. Was starting to have old age and high mileage nit pickin' issues too. Tire sensors etc.

Drove a RAV4 rental once on a road trip to Kansas. Decent enough, only complaint I had was the screen in the center of the dash being nearly useless during the day. I survived 40 odd years without a backup camera before I got in it and I made through the week without scratching the paint.

Never had a RAV4, but I like the way they look, and can handle a some cargo. I have a Corolla now, really miss my Camry. Been blowing some serious cash here too. Last week new furniture. I really can't complain because it's been almost 20 years since we bought new, and other pieces were inherited. Last week out 55" TV went out. I looked at it and it would cost me at least 100 to fix it myself. While at Costco yesterday they had a LG 65" on sale for $499. You know the rest :-) Wife is busy rightb now playing with all the new bells and whistles.
Good week to all.

Whoa! Last few days have been eating like crap. Meals got out of whack starting Friday. Protein bar for breakfast (running late) ate lunch Friday and Friday being Valentine's missed supper because wife and I were car shopping and got home at 10:00. Saturday, ate single poached egg breakfast, polished off the left over Dickey's Bar-B-Que turkery and had lobster for supper. Moral of the story - routine matters. Could be some muscle weight gain from putting bedroom/closet back together.
Wifey had been drving my RAV4 while her Prius was in shop from tire incident. After seven weeks of driving it decided she wanted one of her own. Let her fingers do the walking, pointing and clicking thing and found a silver 2017 RAV4 LE at the Honda dealer in Tyler. It is a basic model w/o all the bells and whistles like heated seats and is not keyless, with only 4,700 miles on it! Literaly had been an elderly lady's car who only drove it on Sundays. No factory warranty left but widey did buy an extended, more like repair insurance, from dealer. Carfax was clean, registration address had it at a condo/apartment complex in Tyler and hand written notes in audio system manual looked like an older person's handwriting. It's wifey's for the next 36 months anyway.
If you have tomorrow off enjoy it. Some of us will be working for "Presidents" on President's Day.
Have a Great Week, Guys!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Great motto. I'm at 255 lbs but I've been lifting weights (circuit) the last month or so. Feel a lot stronger, healthier and better. Hopefully the weight will eventually come off but I am building muscle. Actually got a few remarks of if I've "lost weight?! So it appears that I am losing inches, gonna just keep plugging away. Admittedly circuit weight training does make me ravenous! So once I cut down on the calories and keep training I'm confident the lbs will come off. For now, I feel healthy.

I've been sick the last week and a half. Back to work but trying to convince people that I don't have the Corona virus. Still winter here in Chicago
Have a great week.

Once the 'backlog' clears I'm sure I'll be a bit closer to 180. Pants were actually getting tight on Saturday before things finally started moving.

I'm carrying an extra 5lbs of "winter weight" but still exercising inside so not too concerned.
The slogan at the top about "Health, not weight" is really true and my life's mantra now.
