Hi guys, Sorry I haven't been posting. Between the lockdown, one of my kids getting COVID-19 (not seriously, but a bit of heart attack for me and my wife), work being kind of crappy, and Chicago having endless winter, it just got away from me.
But we are finally having nice weather, co I am working in the yard today and my son graduated high school yesterday.
Have a great week, all!

Finally a day without rain Saturday. Got a lot of overdue yardwork done. Still some areas under water where I could not mow.
Good week to all

Waaayyy too many carbs last week. I'm 18 months postop tomorrow.
Actually there is a fourth. A monk. Negative Ghost Rider. Gregorian chant is not on my play list. Neither is poverty or celibacy.

Guess I'm on the "chunk" plan. Mrs. was gone most of the week doing executrix duties for an uncle that past so left up to my own vices. Walking was cut short twice this week to four. Tylenol not touching my knees. Must have Friday though since got the full thing done. No yard work this weekend. Was boat building. 2" or rain between yesterday and last night. Straight line winds wiped out local propane company and scrubbed the shingles off the nursing home across the highway but no injuries or fatalities.
Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!!

Exercise has been tough due to rain and snow this week but I'm working out whenever I get the chance. Biggest change post wls is I prioritize my health over everything else. It's the only way things work longer term.
Mothers day was taking my wife to Home Depo for planting supplies and Mexican takeout.
Have a great week!

That's what I tell the Mrs. "I made you a mom" :-) I always seem to think it is much funnier than her.
It snowed here two days ago, and they are talking about mixed snow and rain tomorrow morning. This really stinks. I usually have the pool prepped by now.
I couldn't wait for a haircut, or I should say my wife couldn't bear to see my scraggly mop another day, so she cut it for me. Actually did a great job!
Restaurants open up for outside seating at the end of the week. Looking forward to being able to get out.
Good week to all!

How can you have Mother's Day without Daddy's two minutes?
Week wonky. Normal exercise routine disrupted by an "on the job injury". A 58 year old previously injured left knee to 80+ year old concrete -the concrete is going to win. Every time. Managed a full session a few days later but not at record time. Yard is on agenda this afternoon after Mother's Day lunch at my brother's.
Texas reopened barbershops, beauty shops and nail salons Friday. Got lucky, I mean really lucky, and was able to walk right in and sit down in the chair yesterday. Kid the woman that she has the "fastest fingers west of the Mississippi". Said she had done 60 cuts Friday. Normal day is 30-35. Could pull my bangs down to the lower end of the bridge of my nose it was that bad. Now I have ears again.

I didn't have an toasted marshmallows this time, but I do enjoy them too. Yeah it was nice to spread out and get to enjoy the company of others. I'm actually working more hours during all of this, so I don't get as much time with my dogs as I normally do.
