Happy Father's Day to the fathers amongst us. Late Dad's birthday was June 19th so often times we had a twofer on Father's Day. I'm quite sure we would be giving him grief over his birthday becoming a Federal holiday!

Had learning moment this morning. Like any good computer you have to unplug and plug back in a LG washing machine when it goes dark. That is fine except with the pedestals I have maybe 1.5" to get to the plug over the top w/o moving the dryer. Utility room was not built with front load appliances in mind. They were X2's idea and pedestals put them at the bottom of the cabinet. Wound up moving said dryer detaching the vent hose in the process. Unplug, count to 15, plug up and it made it's happy noise indicating it had power again. Did find some stray socks and cleaned the floor under dryer while I was back there.

Exercise good this week for most part. Twice on rower and yard yesterday. Mrs. is off station next week so I will be able to put treadmill out and use it more. Still don't have the mileage to where it as before getting the rower but could tell using push mower yesterday was not as tiring as previously.

Have a Good Week, Gentlemen!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Happy Father's Day

I got treated to a delicious breakfast in bed from my wife and daughter.

This is the first year missing my dad. Went to visit him at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Cheers to all our fathers!

The first ones are the worst ones. Father's Days, birthdays, holidays etc. Mom had to clean out the closet under the stairs when she had pipes to break during the freeze. Drug out a bunch of stuff my Dad had at a work or were gifts, coffee cups, pen and pencil sets, belt buckles etc. from vendors et al. I took one of his old metal oilfield hardhats that OSHA would not approve of today. Many memories came back after 28 years. Damn onion ninjas.

My kids all remembered it was Father's Day, so that was a big win. I'm traveling so no idea what my weight is but sometimes it's better that way.
