This week: 189.6

Sorry for the last start but Chief type person called me wanting me to come help him on a house fire. People and their little dog got out okay and went to neighbor's to call 9-1-1. No insurance and limited resources due to fixed incomes so house likely will have to come down at city's expense.

Exercise good this week. Two times walking and keeping it under the norm both times. Yard work yesterday sans sun screen. Shins especially are a little roasted.

TX opening back up slowly but surely. Seafood Friday night and Waffle House this morning after I got back home. Never appreciated half of one of their ham and cheese omelets as much as I did this morning!

Go forth, stay safe and have a Great Week!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

This week 185.2

Had a 'festive' Saturday. Dog went missing a couple days ago. Got a call Saturday that he was seen in some woods on the edge of town, so spent an hour or so beating the brush with wife and daughters. Dog was recovered but in the process daughter's only key for her van was lost. Call a locksmith, he has another job going and can't get to it until later that night.

Our latest grass guy ghosted, so I bought a mower just out of frustration more than anything. The store was closing early so we wound up getting to the checkout just as they were closing up. The register tape runs out. The gal gets her boss to help and they accidentally close the transaction out. In order to reprint our receipt boss has to go look up the transaction on the computer, which is in use by a guy trying to quote windows to the most indecisive person ever. So it was about twenty minutes after closing time before we got out of there. On the way home, get a call from the locksmith. He's lost the cable he needs to get the van to accept the chip in the new key. So it's probably going to be late Monday before her van is going again. So this week I have a mower to assemble, a small jungle to beat back, and the denouement of the van key saga on the agenda.

Crap! One of those "what else is going to go wrong" days. You got your dog home. The rest will work itself out.

Unhappy. 3 lbs up from yesterday! Didn't think I ate that much salty stuff. Maybe just an anomaly, but still ****** me off!

Anyways 74 here in Cleveland. A nice little cook out.

Good week to all

It was really nice weather here in PA got for a 3 mile walk on both Saturday and Sunday. It was nice to just get out and enjoy the sunshine and nice weather. Had the first fire campfire of the year too that was nice to just sit outside. Other than that just played with the pup and did some grilling.

I did a backyard campfire over the weekend too. It was nice to hang outside with some people around even though sitting 10 ft apart. I'm probably one of the last adults to still eat toasted marshmallows but definitely love the stuff so it made it that much better experience.

I didn't have an toasted marshmallows this time, but I do enjoy them too. Yeah it was nice to spread out and get to enjoy the company of others. I'm actually working more hours during all of this, so I don't get as much time with my dogs as I normally do.

Eating is terrible in quarantine but exercise has been really good since not much else to do. The dogs are happy to have people around all day, so at least some creatives are benefiting from this.
