Better on the treadmill this week and did yard yesterday. Think I was mowing more dust than grass and weeds. Be picking "mud" from my nose for a few days.

Cowboys did "brand" the Texans last night. Had a very well done blocked punt taken, or swatted, back for a touchdown. Tampa Bay next week in last preseason game.

My Sgt. person is now my new Chief. Will have to see how that goes. Theoretically I should move up the ladder but small town politics may come in to play and they may go outside looking for his replacement. Will be the LAST screwing over I take in law enforcement if that happens.

Have a Great Week, Gentleman!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Miami vs. Florida last night. Not a pretty game, lots of penalties, turnovers, etc. But it was a football game that counted in the standings. College starts in earnest on Thursday and NFL in two weeks. Our long national nightmare is finally over.

Had a pretty good week. We did Murph again yesterday and I was able to improve my time quite a bit to 57:44

Good luck with the promotion.

Caught some of Miami and Florida after the Cowboys had pulled way out in front of Houston. Mullens was Head Coach at Mississippi State and Diaz was his Def Cord till he left for Miami as their DC. Mullens went straight to Florida from State. His return to Starkville for Florida to play State was a highly anticipated affair but State lost.

Last week 198.8

This week 198.6

The loss this week was a near run thing this week. Been years since I've watched a football game so I can't offer much in trenchant commentary. Heard about Andrew Luck and definitely applaud him for making a tough decision to take care of his health. The fan reaction in Indy reminds me a bit of stupidity you occasionally hear about WLS. In either case those schmucks aren't the ones living with the consequences of what they so blithely recommend. Anyhow it's not much of a loss but I'll take it.

Read about Luck calling it a career and his injuries over the last several years. Can't remember who said it or when but the player commented that he wanted to get out of football "while I can still walk good".

Couldn't do what you do! Would use a can of "people seasoning" (pepper spray) a week!

I'm not giving you guys any sports slack. You don't know suffering until you've spent a lifetime routing for the Knicks and Jets.

Fortunately life is good otherwise.weight is stable, exercise is good.

As a kid I grew up a Saint's fan until we moved to Houston and I morphed into an Oilers fan. Feel your pain.
