Mother's Day Weigh In
Last week: 187.0
This week: 185.8
I know none of us are "mothers" technically but we all had one. Still with you or not this is their day. Mine is 82 and tonight is seafood night. Worry daily about her every day.
Nice dip from last week but came due to cir****tances beyond my control. Only place I eat lunch at began closing Sun-Wed so no lunch specials three days a week. More protein bars and heat and eats at office. Secondly, I could not walk at all. Literally. Was getting into company truck Tuesday to come home and when I pushed up my left knee decided it want to hyperextend ever so slightly aggravating a previous severe hyperextension 30 years ago that required surgery a year later. Was obvious that I was having mobility issues and was in some "discomfort". BS! Hurt like moderforker!! PCP has me on a round of steroids and half way through vast improvement! Not getting on treadmill improvement but can walk without grimacing too much. Pain comes back will try to wiggle me in with his upstairs neighbor the orthopedic doctor earlier than I could do on my own.
Serious note: If anyone else wants to take the lead on Sundays, or pick a day, - Please do! I have no problem passing the baton.
Have a Great Week, Guys!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
215.1 Last Week
213.1 Today
Happy I'm down a few. Weather and work have prevented me from enjoying outside work, but I'm sure hot weather will hit soon. Which reminds me, I need a new central air, so probably a new furnace too. $$$
Mom is 89 with dementia, but still recognizes my dad and us kids. I will be calling today and visiting tomorrow.
Today I'm making prime rib for my wife and mother in law :-)
Good week to all

Headed to Florida for work this week. Can't wait to get out of the cold and rain of the upper midwest.
Spoke to my Mom and bought my wife a present from my kids (isn't that supposed to be their responsibility?), soI'm in pretty good shape for Mother's day.
Have a great week, all

I've been up for the past few months so Summer usually helps with better quality foods (fruits) and more opportunities to get outdoors.
I drove down to see my mother (she's 83 but generally ok health) earlier this week and spent the day, so ok on that front. Now I have to remind my kids to reach out to her and my wife. I guess as the dad (my own dad has passed away), that's my main role today. I took my wife out last night for dinner as mothers day itself is always a horror story for restaurants. I waited tables as a kid, and mothers day was by far the worst of the year.

Been stuck bouncing between 230 and 225 for a month now. My clothes are still getting looser but the scale isn't giving me much love. I was a pretty good boy this weekend, got a couple of computer repair/upgrade tasks out of the way along with getting some financial and medical paperwork taken care of, along with the usual household chores and self care (buying groceries and doing laundry).
I had to adjust my vitamin loadout for the week since I have to discontinue the E and K on Wednesday for the Colonoscopy I have coming up the Monday following. Because of my DS I'll have to start the prep work and liquid diet a day early (Saturday). So next weekend will be a party.
The weekend following I'll be traveling to Kansas to see family and a 30 year high school reunion.
