Last week: 183.6

This week: 182.6

"Fat Tuesday" is the last hoorah before Lent begins. Growing up in NOLA we went downtown to watch the parades and holler "Hey Mister! Throw me somethin'!" for a cheap ass set of beads or a stamped metal token called a "doubloon". Those little jewels could be worth something depending on the rarity of the color in particular. If you heard crunching sounds it meant somebody had on golf shoes or baseball cleats meaning becareful reaching down to pick them up off the ground because you might get spiked! Car, drunk driver, drove through crowd last night killing two. We began going to the farm in MS instead of downtown the last few years we were there. May go back on vacation one of these days but not this week!

Real world: Tax Season going full blast for GF. Means firing up the crockpot more. Have beef tips and a pork roast lined up for this week. Going to be C-O-L-D this week so some chili may be coming out of the freezer.

Have a Great Week, Gentlemen!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Don - your consistency amazes me. 181 - 185 all year round. Although you are low key about it you really are as successful as anybody on here OH.

My daughter wraps up her internship in Dallas this week and heads back to Waco Friday. She loved being in Dallas, I don't think that we are going to see her back in Chicago except for holiday visits.

I had a good week. A little less snacking and I think that the gym time, which initially stalled me, is starting to pay off.

LW 212.2

CW 208.8

Have a great week, all.

Thank you for the kind words. For the humpteenth hundredth time WLS is not a sprint. It's a marathon! Find what works in the beginning and stick with it!

Good news that your daughter did well at her internship.

The head zap of WLS is what is, was and will be the hardest part of this journey.

Last Week 256.2

This week 251.6

Taking a couple days off at work for mental health (plus I have to burn my personal holidays, they won't cash them out any more). Got a little too enthusiastic last night at the trail, walked 6 and half miles and wound up having to use a flashlight for the last couple miles. My feet are complaining a little but the aches and pains this morning are pretty much nonexistent.

Six and a half miles trail walking is a nice little FART! You've been knocking down some serious numbers too.

(Fantastic, Awesome, Remarkable, Terrific)
