Not too bad of a week work and walking wise. GF loving her new job even only starting Wednesday. Using her skill set on tax software she knows.
Walking will be out of whack this week. Driving time to and from a three day in-service school will eat into walking time. If my own bed is within 90 miles each way - I'm driving and not staying in hotel/motel. Sort of make up for one missed session today by mowing yard.
Bill - saw post on plastic board.
Have a Great Week!

Not a terrible week, but not great either. This time of summer we start seeing great produce from local farmers. I've been eating too much corn, but its the best I've had since I was a kid. Fresh tomatoes are in from another local farmer. We bought a bunch of Blueberries and Cherries from a farmer in Michigan, and have another box of blueberries coming in two weeks. in another month, apple season will be here. Probably too many carbs, but the season is short.
After 6 months in my new job, my boss is finally getting around to figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing. Maybe by the end of the year, I'll have a better idea. Meantime, I just take each day as it comes. I'm trying to get more exercise, but I'm a little held back by my wife who has had terrible back problems. We're working to get her better, and I know I have to take good care of myself in any case.
Well its getting to be that time of year and Don has already mentioned football, so I think that I need to come clean and mention this - I am a New England Patriots fan. Although I live in in Chicago, I was born and raised outside of Boston and still root for the Boston teams (except hockey). At least I am not a bandwagon jumper. For college I root for Baylor because my daughter attends. Certainly they are not an overdog.
Solid week weight wise, hopefully I can replicate it this week. Mostly attributable to eating at home vs. in restaurants, I think.

It's been an interesting week here. I've got some post stone issues that I hope to have resolved soon. The good news is they should not interfere with surgery. I've been bouncing around the upper 250s for weeks now. Surgery is two weeks from tomorrow, so I'll drop maybe 10 lbs or so, swell up from swelling, and hopefully stabilize around 250. If I were to get down to 240 I will have literally lost half my body weight. I have a feeling I'll look like a refugee of some sort at that weight though.
Don, my wife is rolling her eyes at the bad jokes, but she knew that before she married me. I came close to getting smacked when I said something at the doctor's office about getting her a nurse outfit since she'll be nursing me back to health.
John, I can identify with the corn on the cob thing. I figure if I'm going to have corn these days, it's coming out of a bottle. Berries abound on our property most years, but the pickings were slim this summer. We usually get quart after quart of blackberries, wine berries, and mulberries. What the heck, they're good carbs, right.

He did not, but I am preparing for swelling from my shoulders to my knees. That ought to about cover it.
