My weight goes up and down like a yo-yo. I'm pretty sure that's a result of how well hydrated I am through the week. Food was OK, but could always do better. Travel schedule for the next month is brutal. For the month of October, my best case scenario is 4 nights in my own bed. My company is pushing for less expensive travel, which is affecting the restaurants I usually eat at, resulting in it being more difficult to stay on track.

Have a great week.

As I review my weight I have been in the 230 to 235 range for quite a while. I want to get to 215. In order to do that need to remember I have to CONSISTENTLY eat mindfully, drink water, take vitamins, and exercise.

Last week: 188.4

This week: 188.0

Motel 6 and McDonalds are the limits on hotel and para diem? Not many good pickings at either.

Tough day in SEC yesterday. Miss State, LSU, Ol' Miss all losing. State has a bye next week. Cowboys and Rams at Noon Central.

Spent yesterday afternoon giving shop/storage building it's "annual" cleaning. Nice little work out pushing, pulling and lifting things. Will use leaf blower through out the year to "sweep" the floor but this was the get the brooms after the spider webs type cleaning.

Y'all go do your thing!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

A little better than Motel 6 and McDonalds, but need to stay away from the normal seafood hangouts with baked or grilled fish. I'll figure it out, but its a PIA.

Motel 6 is no go for me/us. Don't want to be able to spray the room with Luminol and find blood splatter or other biologics. Ewwwwww! McDonalds only good for **** stop.

As of late, last several months, my main food issue has been that the one of the local restaurants closed. Really causes an issue when the only other place I eat at is Mexican food. I don't do the pizza joint for anything and I sure ain't going to eat anything from a gas station! Try to limit the Mexican to Tuesday and Thursday only but they do have a few other items on the menu I have tried. No bueno! At the place that closed was "American" food with a lunch special. Would get a protein and a veggie, get charged 1/3 the normal price, tip the waitress really good and was keeping good on scales. Now GF will get Subway or Sonic maybe Schlotzsky's and bring it to the office to share depending on her day. Too much bread even though may get two bites before I "strip" innards from bread. Result is try as I may eating crap and scales show it despite the walking and other stuff I do. On days GF does not meet me for lunch keep a supply of dude foods and protein bars to eat. Even my mother commented last week that it looked like I was putting weight back on even though I've been wearing the same size clothes the last 7-8 years!

Three ideas...Like Don said, Subway sandwiches. I put everything on mine...I get the tuna on Fridays. It's $3.50 for a six inch (no tax in CA if you don't toast it). It takes me about 4-6 days to finish the thing. The other thing I preach is Wendy's Chili (add cheese and onions if you like). It's the best fast food out there.

The other idea (if you are not pouring over a computer with clients) is doing a power walk with clients. They may want to get out and talk in the fresh air. Two birds with one stone...Depending on the situations. You just record their ideas and concerns. Just talking out loud. Brian

I weighed myself yesterday also, and was 195, so I am not sure which day is the fluke, but I'll take it and know I'll have
to be dilligent to keep the trend going for next weeks weigh in.

Last week 196 (about the same for the last 5 weeks or so). Today (Monday) 196.5-197. I'll take it. Next Monday will be 11 years post RNY. Being under 200 after 11 years...I would take that in a heartbeat!!

Been lagging on my posts - having trouble finding the time to log on here, but still making time for exercise. Diet has been good and bad, usually worse when traveling. Stress has been high at work, which doesn't help much.

I'd say have a great week, but it's already halfway done!
