Two weeks on the road, leading to even more travel. I'm pretty happy that my weight was consistent given my crappy schedule. Now I head into the belly of the travel beast. I'm traveling Sunday through Friday the next few weeks, and possibly the next few months. I have my workout clothes packed, and I'm working on a eating out plan that will work for me.
Watching Hard Knocks is starting to get me excited for football season. I'm heading to Tampa today, and my office is right by the Buccaneers team hotel. Perhaps I'll see some behind the scenes stuff
Have a great week everyone.

I've been AWOL for awhile. I got a new job, did a ton of traveling and am finally getting used to my new normal. Phew, what a few months it's been! I got my yearly labs done this week and am waiting for my results. I've had super low energy the past 3-4 weeks and horrible night sweats. Like soak the whole bed, have no fluids left in my body type of night sweats. They put me on an antibiotic and a steroid which killed my weight apparently. I'm not going to get stressed about the scale, but I'm a far cry from the 189 I hit awhile ago. My goal is 199.9....anything in the 100s. But for now, my goal is to just get my energy back, stop sweating and find out what the hell is going on with my internal nuclear reactor that's melting me down every overnight.
Have a great week everyone!
Hope you get that figured out soon. I get night sweats (like change the sheets because you can wring them out sweats) if I have a hypoglycemic reaction. I've checked my blood glucose and its gone in the low 40's which is pretty dangerous.
The steroids will hurt your weight for sure. Good luck with the weight loss.

A pretty good week, however some old habits are trying to creep in. Got to control the late night mindless eating. Keeping busy during the day works great. But it is the evenings that are very tough on me. Any suggestions on thwarting the evening eating?
Have a good week everyone.

A few things have worked for me over the years with night eating. You can drink a lot of water at night...Which means you need to get up more in the middle of the night to pee!! Raw vegetables...Just stuff your face with them. They are boring, but good for you...Gives your that full feeling. Also things like rye crackers or plain (not generic) Cheerios. My downfall is tortilla chips at night...The salt, the oil, the crunch!!

Been out of town for a couple of weeks and missed my weigh ins. Considering how I ate on this trip, I'm pretty happy to see a basically unchanged weight. Very thankful for the restriction - I ate off plan but still kept (most) eating only to mealtimes. I was really good with exercise though, between hotel gyms and walking. Back home and back on track now.
Have a great week
Sorry got busy...Having people put down new laminate floors...Moving tons of stuff. Also had the car detailed...Got out the Pepsi and chocolate stains out!!
