I was shocked this morning. I started the week off pretty mindfully, then while I was in Mexico felt like I was really over eating. When I came home, I decided that I would really pull back calories (to about 800/day). I also drank like crazy. No doubt much of the weight loss this week is water, I'll take it.

Speaking of Mexico, I went to some really great restaurants. The picture is from one of them. I can be an adventurous eater, but I draw the line at bugs, larvae and worms. Although I didn't try any of these appetizers the rest of that lunch was spectacular.

One last thing....I brought out my bike last weekend. After a couple of rides, I experienced the worst cramping in my legs ever. Even though I'm extremely well hydrated, and work to maintain electrolytes, it was brutal. Hopefully I find the answer soon.

Have a great week all.

I had a feeling it was going to be bad this morning. Worked Saturday and the went out with the Mrs. in the evening and had a little tavern food. Feel guilty, but thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Have a great week

Ride for fun around a local high school or college. No pressure. Then build up. Don't be like those people who go to the gym 1 or 2 times...Then quit because they haven't used certain muscles in years...And are sore everywhere!

I've been taking spin classes all winter to keep in shape as well as my own personal one at home. It's not the same as getting outside though. I try to not be a weekend warrior, but sometimes my travel schedule won't let me work out much mid week.

I hate exercise for the sake of exercising! I do enjoy bike riding with my daughter and going for walks with the Mrs.

What do you guys enjoy that constitutes exercise?

My bicycle...But I live in a valley...Very few hills. Also things like walking. One guy (on the Men's Forum) took up hiking. He would walk parts of the Cumberland Trail... Just go from one exercise to another (or work projects can be cool too; gutters, mowing, windows, cleaning out the car...), till you find what suits you...

The last time I weighted I was at 212-213. I felt lighter today...Been doing a lot of physical work!

Got on the scale...207.8 I'll take that any day...10+ years out. My highest was 300. Brian

Last week - 183.2
This week - 182.8

Not a lot but right direction anyway.

"Prehispanic appetizers"? What does that mean? "Hispanic" is a US census bureau made word to describe residents of Latin America in general. Never heard it used to describe time. Interesting.

Managed to get yard work done before rain started. Had 2.25" in rain guage this morning. Heavy storms at house but no tornados like were in other parts of my "neighborhood". Lots damage and unfortunately loss of life last night.

Vios con dios Amigos.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

It was a menu translated from Spanish to English. I'm pretty sure the translation was sketchy at best.

High weight (June 2011): 328

Pre surgery weight (2/1/17): 283

Last week: 224.9

This week: 221.9

Down three for the week, but up a pound since Friday. Been eating well though, getting plenty of exercise and water. All good results at my 3 month post-op appt. this week - was told I already lost 57% of my excess body weight, which is a pretty good number at 3 months I understand.

I was taken off my PPI this week since I hadn't had any heartburn - then once I was off it for three days, it started back up. I had some pills left so I started taking them again. Will email my doctor tomorrow to get the prescription renewed.

I have a trade show coming up this week - getting my meals planned in advance as much as possible, and hopefully will have time in the mornings and evenings for exercise.

Have a great week!
