Hungry - Full is there an in between?

It seems that either I am hungry or full, with hardly any time in between. I eat enough and am satiated for maybe an hour, and then hungry again. I try to have a healthy snack after two hours, something like 4 oz cottage cheese or some snap peas and hummus. Anyone else have this? And any suggestions on how to cope or what to try?

I would say raw vegetables as much as possible. I also do little bites of apple since I'm over 10 years out. It helps to keep the blood sugar level up. Liquid fruit juice will spike your blood sugar, then it drops quickly...

My snacks used to be the same types of food as yours and I was feeling that way. Now I eat very protein forward with very little carbs (from some very good advice from Grim). Now my snacks are dense protein such as turkey, chicken, Osrtim meat sticks etc... The protein will keep much more satisfied for a lot longer. Good luck!

Thanks. I just looked up Osrtim meat sticks, and they seem to have a lot of protein for fewer calories. Going to order some through Amazon.
