Belts, get these before surgery
I had to throw out all of my belts I had pre-surgery. I wish I had been using a ratchet belt. Easy to trim, and you don't have to toss them as you lose weight.
Hope this saves you some $$$.

Yeah, but do any of them have the capacity for hauling around heavy objects without stretching or sagging? I looked, but did not see one for that. They do look nice though.

All I can see is an itty bitty question mark. I have a double thickness cowhide belt right now from Springfield leather. It has to hold up a .45 ACP (Tupperware or aluminum frame, so they are lightweight), spare ammo, a flashlight, and an phone. It does a good job, but I am always looking to see what else might be out there. I am getting too skinny for this one. I have a smaller one in reserve, but I suspect I will outgrow (or outshrink?) that one eventually too.
Here is a link from the above picture:
When I used to be in good shape, my favorite belt was an Ernie Hill. Sadly, it ended up too big for me. I have one that's ok from Aker, but it isn't as sturdy. The best by far is from Bullhide Belts. Best belt I ever owned, and US made, which I always look for.
