I eat lots of boneless chicken these days. It must be a very interesting ranch. Last week wasn't without its struggles, but I'm happy to see the direction the scale went. I need another good week. One change for me was that last week was the first business trip I've taken since early December. Getting out of the house does make my nighttime snacking problem easier to handle.
We're starting to move into the dog days of winter here. After Superbowl, I really don'****ch that much sports, so I'll have to switch to indoor chores. I see basement cleaning and painting in my future. Ugh.
Have a great week everyone.
Last week - 180.4
This week - 180.6
You're going into the "dog days of winter" and I almost gave into temptation yesterday and did a little yard work. Key word being "almost". Did fix my flag holder that broke several weeks ago but did not mow - not in January!
Go do your thing!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Long gone are the days of 190-something... I'm not too upset but am actively working on getting back on track. 11 days in Hawaii had a bit of a gain a couple of weeks ago. I think my goal for sustaining is 197-199, so I have some work.
Exercise: doing great

It seems Saturdays are my problem area. I'm a bit in the "I worked hard all week, I deserve this [fill in the carb here]." I acknowledge and I'll do better. All in all, I'm still down 245 or so pounds so I can't be that hard on myself.
I have travel to Boston this week for work; and on my birthday so no cake! :p
Have a great week guys!

Only lost a pound this week. It was an up and down week for me. I actually gained a bit during the week then lost by the end. I had a couple of days there where I just ate and ate all day long. I was out sick a couple of days this week and my wife has been sick too, and I know when I get out of my routine, I run into trouble.
Night eating is still my biggest challenge. I just don't know what to do about it. I can't seem to stop myself. Luckily, the surgery does not allow me to eat much at one time, but it doesn't stop me from putting the food in my mouth. That has to be me. I know it. I just have stay focused and do it.
My father in-law is visiting now for the next 6 weeks too, and he likes to cook, so I am going to have to be extra vigilant. This week is a big event for my work. We host insurance people from all over the country and I teach a few classes. Again, it will keep me out of a regular routine, but hopefully I will be able to avoid the night eating. After this event I can finally get my gall bladder taken care of, then I can begin an exercise routine. I think I am going to start with some long walks but I want to get back into lifting some weights. We have a gym at work, so I know I can stay after work and hit the weights. I just need to get the gallstones out first. It has been a long process, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, and all is good.

Another week and another change in weight...I do have a goal to get to 216 as that signifies a total weight loss of 130. Still, I am struggling with eating. It is definitely better than when I was at my highest, but without question it is a lot more difficult then when I was in the honeymoon phase! Alas, I will keep fighting the good fight because I REFUSE to give in and let myself get back to that.
Patriots v Falcons in the Super Bowl. Being a life long Pats fan hoping that Brady/Belichick get their 5th Ring together!!!!!
