Crappy week. I do pretty well during the day, but I suck at keeping snacks out of my diet at night. I'm still working on different alternatives. My current test is drinking decaf coffee. It seems that hot drinks help curb my head hunger a little bit, and drinking keeps me busy (I believe boredom at night is a root cause of my snacking). We'll see how it works. It's a little chilly here in Minnesota (actual air temp -18 degrees with wind chill at -35 degrees) so a cup of hot coffee is nice. I've also made up some sugar free hot chocolate to drink as well.
I gave up my directv this year, so I can****ch the Lions today. I'll be listening to the game. We may actually get to the playoffs!! I was hoping to find a picture of Stafford saluting the Giants with his one fingered glove better, but this is all I could find.

By comparison the 21 degrees this morning on my front porch is a "heat wave" compared to your -18 degrees. Regardless it is C-O-L-D! I have one long sleeve uniform shirt and it is ready to go for tomorrow morning. Usually it is a short sleeve shirt over a long sleeve t-shirt but with it this cold long sleeves over long sleeves!
Tampa Bay comes to "Jerry World" this evening. Hope the lid is closed and the heat is on! Last week in New York was a heart breaker.

I had a good week, after a slow start. I think I am in a good place right now. I have to stay focused though. I have gotten on the exercise bike a bit more and I am trying to get more water in, but that is still a struggle. I saw a post about eating proteins first in a meal, and I am trying to do that. Hopefully that will help.
Since we were talking about how cold it is, I can tell you that it got down to 74 today! Brrrrr.
Eagles lost another close game, and the rookie QB is playing like a rookie QB. It is what it is, I know it is a rebuilding year, so I am just glad the kid has not gotten hurt.
Anyway, I am getting close to a very psychological personal mark: 266. When I was 29 years old (over 20 years ago!) I weighed 375lbs and I started on a program with a group called TOPS and got down to 266lbs. So, when I hit 265, I will be at my lowest weight since I was not legally allowed to drink! That will be a big number for me, 265. Hopefully it will be a nice Christmas present for me next Sunday.
