Weight is definitely going the wrong way. I'm doing better in the workout arena, but I have a lot of improvement in eating to make. Head hunger (mind games) is playing a role in the past few weeks. My challenge this week is to not worry so much about what I'm eating during the day, but rather get some control over my stupid head. On another note, this is when I'd usually be trying to get my weight down in anticipation of the Holiday season. All my kids and grandkids will be visiting on Thanksgiving weekend. They started brainstorming ideas for meals, and when I put it in writing its FUGLY. All the more reason to get my head on straight.
I had to stop watching Mich-Maryland yesterday. There was no competition. I love watching UM games, but jeeze. Three weeks until the big game!! Lions play Vikings today, so that'll be fun.
Have a great week!!

Speaking of "fugly". Nobody's fault but mine.
Mississippi State knocked off Texas A&M by 7. Texas squeaked past Texas Tech and the Disciples of Christ (TCU) hammered the Baptist (Baylor)! Cowboys and the Browns at lunch today so have to get a move on. Hopefully we can we say 7-1 with Mr. Prescott as QB?
If you have not voted early - GO VOTE TUESDAY!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Basically the same as last week. I worked my tail off... but with the Cubs winning the series there was some champagne. And wine... :|
I really don't drink; maybe a glass of wine a week. I didn't drink to excess, but a glass of champs here and a glass of wine here. I chalk it up to 108 year curse being lifted. I did make sure to get the right food in and all of my exercise. So I think I'll take this week. I was able to celebrate but not punish myself.
Still cannot believe they did it! It was so awesome to leave work and walk a few blocks to watch the parade. I filmed the whole thing so I can never forget it. My grandpa who died 25 years ago was the biggest Cubs fans and watching the games with him almost everyday after school, I shed a tear in his memory for his beloved Cubs the night they won. It's special as the last time they were even in the Series was the year my dad was born. And with his passing 2 weeks ago, it's a bit of a nice memory. Sorry this is so long about the Cubs, I'm still a bit emotional from my dad and the Cubs. What a fall 2016 has been.
It's all good to vent about your losses. Holding it in will take you to a place you don't want to go. My Dad passed 23 years ago next Sunday. Love him and miss him still but can't bring him back. You just learn to move on as best you can. With time it gets better but initially the light in the tunnel is a train.
I didn't get on yesterday, but the week was not very good for the weight loss department.

I thought I did ok with my eating, but I only exercised one time. I am just starting to get back into walking with my wife, so hopefully that will improve. Today we went to the mall and walked around for a bit. I need to get my heart back in shape. I have been very sedentary for a long time. I am not discouraged though. I will fight through this and have a great week. I can feel it!
