Diet was OK, water was poor, Vitamins were OK.
I'll be on vacation this week at home, so I should get some more exercise and hopefully have a little control over my diet. I just got back from a 20 mile ride this morning, now on to a day of chasing grandkids.
Looking at that paragraph, that's a pretty awesome NSV.
Have a great week everyone.
Last week: 178.6
This week: 177.6
Learned something yesterday - my arms are too short to put new belt on zero turn. Need someone with longer arms and better upper body strength to get it done.
Harmony has returned to the Force as the NFL opened training camp this weekend!
Go do your thing!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I did not manage to get any rides of longer than 2 hrs in this week. I did get weights in 3 times, though, and I managed to at least ride for a couple of hours 3 days out of the week. I've kept up on my walking at work and walked for a couple of hours yesterday. My diet and vitamins are spot on where I want them to be but sluffed off on my water. I'm going to really work at getting it all in this week. I do have to confess I'm a coffee freak I really need cut down on it. I like to kid myself that I only have 3 cups a day, it's more like 9 lol anyway have a great rest of the week.
Best Regards
Shane

I've found a side effect of being active and being outside all of the time: sunburn! When I was fat and lazy I apparently never saw the sun. Now I'm outside as much as possible and my face is constantly burned. I try to remember hat/sunscreen but it's not a habit yet. :)
I have my 2 year appointment with my surgeon the week after next. I'm excited to see him to share my progress and eager to get my labs to make sure I'm still doing everything right from a vitamin/nutrition standpoint. I feel great, but those yearly numbers are a great confirmation.
Have a great week!

..... been a trying few weeks as my wife's ovarian cancer has metastasized throughout her brain and she is now getting Whole Brain Radiation Therapy (WBRT). Crossing our fingers that she will have a good response and can receive more targeted therapy soon. Surprisingly, there was no evidence of cancer anywhere else in her body. Her oncologists are all baffled as to how it spread.
Had some issues getting all my water down lately, and the weight is slowly melting away despite being a bit sidetracked around here.
