I'm not home today so my weight is from yesterday. I'm down about 3# this week.  Exercise was ok, vitamins were very good and water was very good. I did make a diet change that I'll talk about next week. I think this change was behind the weight loss this week.

I'm off to run errands (literally run, and errands). I'm the same as last week. No change... I'm happy with where I am, but getting used to not losing and staying the same. The race for 2 years was to lose, lose, lose. And now it's to stay, stay, stay. Just takes some mental strength to adjust.

Vegas Vacation very good to me, sort of.  At least on the scales it was.  Wallet took a little bit of a beating.  Not just from gaming but everything, meals, transportation, and shows, have gone up. Have not been in seven years and Wowsa!  That place has changed - BIG TIME!  It is always physically evolving but with such a gap between visits the changes were way more obvious.  What was under construction last time was completed and occupied for several years.  Familiar places had been given extreme make overs and one of the two last of the "Rat Pack" era casinos on the Strip, The Riviera, is closed and will be demoed to make room for an expanded LV Convention Center.  Tropicana is the last one standing.  Noticeable changes on Fremont Street downtown too. 

Now to get back to reality.  Pantry and fridge are empty and the mailbox is full and there is a suitcase full of dirty clothes to be washed.  Won't get the fur children till tomorrow.  There are times I hate being a grown up.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Hey guys, I've been away from the forums for a little while but my weight loss journey is still going strong. In the past 5 months since surgery, I've lost 105 lbs! A couple months ago, I started doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu martial arts to increase my fitness level and it's done wonders for my overall physical health and mental attitude! Keep up the good work guys!

Glad to heAR everyone is keeping it real. I'm happy to say I made it through another week at the same weight. My fitness pal saves my ass all the time.

I just ran out of my vits yesterday and med to get more. Water has been ok. I Ned to add water tracking to my fitness pal and use it. Some days I forget to drink anything until after dinner. Not good.

Good week.  Controlled my snacking more than last week.  Played an alumni baseball game today and didnt do anything drastically embarrassing.

Hey Guys,

So I continue to exercise, first week of Training for a Half Marathon in October. I continue to take my vitamins and drink water.

Unfortunately I have gained about one pound this week, which is not good. Last week I jogged Tues, Weds, Thusday, 3-5 miles ea day and Sat and Sunday I jogged 6.2 miles each day.  Unfortunately as a result of all that jogging, it makes me very hungry and I find myself Grazing All Day instead of eating 3 meals.  I am concerned about weight maintenance. Last Monday a week ago I went for my 7 month check up with the surgeon.  The doctor, nutritionist, and exercise person were all super happy with my progress. So last Monday I was super happy. Also all of the lab work came back normal and I was not low on anything.  So I am happy with my results.  Just a constant concern if I find myself eating constantly.  Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has trained for a half marathon, I would really like to know a reasonable training schedule. I read the book by Hal Higdon training for a half marathon, based on that book I am jogging 5 days a week and resting from jogging 2 days a week.  I went to the gym 5 days last week and have worked out this morning.   Any other training programs or Tips for a half marathon-  Hope you guys have a good week!
