Hi Everyone!  After 3 weeks off the forum I am back from vacation . . . and really pleased I actually lost some weight . . .  Nearly 3 lbs after spending a week at an awesome all-inclusive in Puerto Vallarta and 8 days with my daughters in Phoenix.  After more foo foo fruit drinks than I could count (I know, not smart on a lot of levels lol), my weight didn't blow up on me which was my fear.

Today I am excited to continue to watch my beloved Iowa basketball teams work towards the Sweet Sixteen!  UNI (my awesome alma mater) continues to be magical.  Iowa (both my daughter's alma mater) is making a sweet comeback after a horrid Feb/Mar of regular season basketball and Iowa State, the university closest to my hometown as a kid and a longtime favorite, is derailing their opponents easily at the moment.

Back to the consistency of the program this week, and a bit relieved to do that.  I kinda missed my 64 ounces of pure water, no mixers today!  My 11,000 steps on the Fitbit and eating yogurt as a snack.

Have a great March Madness . . . .

This week: 179.4

Congrats on the Surgiversary!

Can't not tell a lie - lots of stress eating this week.  Very, very bad week at work.  CPR on a guy DOS in his front yard, funeral for a retired Dallas County S. O. Deputy that lived where I work and an off duty, out of jurisdiction officer involved shooting - all in the same 24-hour period.  Shooting I can't go into but was not me and our guy is okay.  Two of four robbers of the video game store different story.  Not killed but need to go to the hospital one via helicopter.  Hope this week runs a little smoother!

Go do your thing!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Another half?  Way to go dude! I was proud of myself for getting over a six foot fence in uniform to check the open back door on a house!

In defense of the fence it was wood screwed to metal cross pieces with the cross pieces being 32-34" apart.  I climbed it in a corner where metal was on the outside facing the alley and on back of the street side but was really on the inside of the fence.  Easy to climb variety!
