Is this similar to your plan?  or how different is or was it?

  1. eat protein first
  2. 100 grams of protein
  3. 100 grams of carbs
  4. 64 ounces of water a day, not during meals and try to avoid 30 min before and after
  5. 3 protein snacks a day (i.e. 1 cup skim milk is the suggested snack)
  6. No carbonated beverages
  7. No fruit juices
  8. Chew well
  9. Eat slowly
  10. No protein powders or supplements, eat real food
  11. A multi-vitamin daily
  12. Walk, walk, walk (duh, exercise!)

Looks okay from here.

I must have became lactose intolerant post op.  Can't do milk in any way except steamed for a latte'. Try and drink it like I did pre op -

That's an awful lot of carbs. I'd be willing to bet you'll run into trouble down the road with that many carbs.

64 ounces of water is ok. Double that is better. You can drink right up until you eat, but not during OR 30 minutes after. Super important.

Don't drink milk. Don't drink a single calorie if you can help it. Have something dense.

You should be using two multivitamins. You will likely need sublingual B12 and a D3 also. Get a full set of labs at least once a year to see what you really need. DO NOT IGNORE LABS AND VITAMINS!!

I'm shooting for 80g of protein and less than 40g of carbs each day.

I actually had to drop taking an additional b12 vitamin as my level was TOO high.  Always interesting to see what other programs suggest.... ;-)

Just move the water to number 1, and I agree. Also I'm a big believer in the 10k steps a day. It's not possible all the time but worth driving for.
