Rough week in the kitchen. I do great all day long, and turn into a beast at night. I've tried several things to break the pattern. What seems to work best is to cook a larger protein dense dinner, eat half and use the other half for a snack later on in the evening. That way I stay out of the garbage food. I need to do this more. Nightime is my nemesis.
After almost two weeks of being home, I'm back on the road again this week. I'll be traveling for the most part until the end of March now. I generally do better on my diet when I travel so hopefully.
Have a great week everyone.

cant believe I'm under 200. I know I say it constantly but this procedure is unreal. I'm actually at a point where I'm thinking about when to stop losing weight. Crazy to think back to how I felt 5 months ago and compare it to how I feel now. So grateful.

This was a tough week. First time I traveled after surgery and I think it was a little too early / too much stress on my system. Couldn't fall asleep almost the whole night I was away and I got home feeling some incision-site pain. I've been trying different soft foods and learning which ones cause more discomfort. I'm feeling a little frustrated at the stall I'm in. My rate of weight loss was definitely lower this week. I'm hoping this is just a temporary adjustment my metabolism is making and that the weight loss will pick up again soon. And I'm also focusing on the fact that I did lose a bit, even if it wasn't as dramatic as the prior weeks. This will be a non-travel, more relaxed week coming up so hoping that will help me get back on track.
Travel 3 weeks after surgery holy **** I would not have been able to do that. I hear of the 3 week stall a lot of people had. I only lost 1 pound I think my third week. The weight will drop off like crazy if you follow the plan. Egg face has some great ideas on her website to help mix it up for you. I remember eating that rigotta bake .it was amazing . Keep up the great work.

Was a little lighter earlier in the week, but happy hour got me on Friday!!! Anyway, making more progress in the right direction so OK with that.
Walking is going well, been averaging 11,000 steps a day. Fluids, check. Too much salt I think this week though, I want to believe I am retaining fluids . . . excuses, excuses.
The weather is starting to improve here in Iowa, looking forward to 50s soon. Everyone have a good week.

Have issues with night time grazing too. Always have. Lots of SF Popsicles and cheese sticks get consumed after supper.
Up two. Nerts.
Weather better in Iowa because politicians have moved on!
Contractor has moved on and we are doing the buttoning up as far as drawer pulls, door knobs, new lighting etc. are concerned. Ran Old English on the cabinets yesterday while putting on the new pulls. Holy built on gunk Batman! 23 year old house tends to catch a lot of crud!
Gotta get move on. Road trip to the "Big City" for Valentine's Day dinner.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Yep I just wanna believe they were creating a huge hot wind on their way out of dodge, lol!!

Amazingly I have stayed at 237 I had cookies and candy this week.WTF!!!
Well I started riding indoors on my spinning bike. It felt good to get a quick 10 mile spin yesterday. I signed up for a 65 mile ride sometime in April or may. This should be interesting I am coming up on my one year surgiversary. It's amazing how my life has changed. Most People I work with have never seen me heavy. Funny stuff when they say I can afford to eat a few doughnuts when vendors bring them in. I tell themy I can't eat that anymore as it makes me feel sick. So I am not lying. I told nobody of my surgery. Here is to a great week everyone.

Had a pretty good week. I'm a little nervous about an upcoming business trip myself. Work is sending me to Kentucky for a 2 week training seminar thing. Going to plan ahead vigorously to stay on plan while I'm away.
Keep up the good work!
